A friend of mine is trying to raise money to help defray the medical expenses of a friend of his who was hit by a car picking her daughter up at the school bus stop and is raffling 2 tickets to the AFCCG.

The raffle chances are $10 each and the seats are in section 333 row 10. They are season tickets seats.
This is not a well publicized raffle, it was only set up on Monday and only has had social media exposure. So the chances of winning should be good compared to something like the Matt Light raffle.

Its a really good cause (if you click the link you can see pictures of Jenny) and all proceeds will go to her for her medical costs. If any one is interested, click the link, and thank you for your support. The drawing will be on Friday.

And thanks to Ian for supporting this great cause and allowing us to post this here.

Done. Bought 2.

I'm in for a few. Injuries are bad enough without medical expenses; wishing her the best of luck!

Andy-
Serious question: was this a hit and run? The medical expenses should be covered by the driver's insurance.

I don't know the details. It's a friend of a friend.

Thank you all for the donations. I wanted to follow up with what AndyJohnson posted..

I'm raffling off two tickets, seated in 333 row 10, to this weekends game. Winner will be picked Friday around 5pm. Tickets will be available pickup anytime prior to the game (I live two towns away from Foxboro).

We've received great response from everyone. All proceeds will go directly to Jenny Gray. If anyone deserves a little extra, its this woman. I met her 20 years ago when I did City Year in Providence. One of the best experiences in my life.

Its a win/win for everyone!

Thanks again

http://mcsully.wix.com/patsraffle - raffle! Winner picked Friday, will post who won after with some pictures :)

http://www.gofundme.com/hsiiuc - if you want to donate directly to her without having a chance to win the tkts (sounds crazy but some people have inquired about this)

30 hours until the drawing.. Again thank you to all!

I'm in!

Even if that's the case, there are a lot more expenses too (especially since they have a child. In my case when one parent goes down we often have to get people to come help, end up buying more food because someone is taking care of the bedridden person, etc..).

I almost forgot, thanks for the reminder Andy!

I hope you raise a ton Sully!

We're getting a great response!

Less than 4 hours until I the raffle ends! Thanks again to everyone who has donated!!! GL to everyone!

GO PATS!!!

How about we make a deal folks: if you enter the raffle and win, and are not sure what to do, then feel free to give me a ticket. :)

winner was just picked: Brian Boulay

Hey Brian if you are here, don't you remember we were once best friends and you said you'd give me a ticket if you ever got one :)

Here's a video of the winning pick

Holy crap!

That video was worth the donation
