The Official Patriots vs Eagles Preseason Game Thread

Please post your comments, knee jerk reactions, insightful observations regarding tonight's 2nd pre-season game vs the Philly Eagles on this thread. Please do not start other threads concerning tonight's game as they will be merged or deleted.

Game time is 7:30 Pm ET. The game broadcast on the Patriots TV network and live on the NFL Network.

Probably the starters will play most of the first half tonight but you never know with BB.

Let's hope for a good game with no injuries and a Patriots victory.

Fug I'm going to miss the 1st half probably.

Might as well rest Revis and play the kids. 2nd straight week the starting WRs are out.

Add CB Alfonzo Dennard to the list of players not expected to play tonight (http://es.pn/XnXqam), as he is not on field for warmups.

Also Kanorris Davis wasn't seen on the field for warmups..

Looking like the DBs are going to be a bit light..

Hopefully, we'll get a good dose of Jemea Thomas..

I'm very excited to see what Thomas can bring to the defensive backfield/safety grouping. It's a shame that he didn't have as many opportunities in TC due to injuries.

I'm surprised that there are so many here unless the Pats have been floating a few player names to other teams in hopes of improving the TE situation or the DL situation..

Where have you gotten that Mayo was hurt? It was reported that his wife is expected a child and he's been excused to be with her.

I'm mixed on that. If he missed this much time, it may good for his availability for the regular season but it probably sucks for his personal life. It usually means someone close to him is very sick or died.

Have to watch this in regular definition right now... how primitive.

My high def says out of service ... who is this moron broadcasting the game?
