It makes it all that much easier to cut him in 2015 if he doesn't significantly improve this year.

Who knows? Keep Alfonzo Dennard in jail a few more weeks and anything is possible.

Hard to imagine a much better week 1 to FA.

Jarred Allen and Mack would be amazing, if we could only get one though, I think I would lean toward Allen. Tough call though, I can dream can't I. lol

It's been a real good free agency period.

Great news.

Would really like to see us make a play for Mack (if indeed Wilfork is released), but I'm not sure BB values a center that highly (top three money at position).

It looks like we may go young at WR (mid round pick), and TE (first two rounds), but if they could get value I'd like to see us add James Jones and Andrew Quarless.....both could make a huge difference in this offense.

I am greatly relieved. So much better for this team than Smith or any of the other WR options available.

If Dobson is healthy we are set at WR. Now get another Gronk-like tight end, some interior OL help and the offense is good to go!

Why not keep the BOTH?? I really would like to see what DA can do in his 2nd yearin this system and hopefully, a healthy one. What we saw last summer and during the Buffalo game (before he was injured) was real.

2 questions moving forward:

1.) With Amendola as the SWR1, and Dobson as the WR2, do they make Edelman a 'true' WR3, or do they use him the way they were going to use him in Welker's last year?

2.) Do you look for another true outside WR, or do you just use Edelman in the hybrid mode? That extra WR could give an interesting 4 wide set, but it would require much more massaging of the snap totals.
