Denver has never, EVER, beaten the Patriots with Gronk on the field.

Um, Revis is better then Talib but I am happy to have Talib seeing he will be an upgrade to the secondary. Seeing this thread mentioned the Broncos, I thought I'd check it out. My bad bro!

settle down bro, we're doing math here

Wait so you're telling me that since Peyton Manning went to the Broncos, the Pats are 2-0 AT HOME with Gronk??? Have you considered a career in analytics?

On a serious note, how many nothing-at-all orders of magnitude difference do you think this makes?

And so in your estimation being humiliated twice and straight up PUNK'ED by the Patriots with Gronk on the field.... makes Denver the superior team? LOL.

late breaking news...Denver police arrest six Mannings sitting in a circle....officer Flynn Flanagan stated "we pulled up and saw this "Nope!" ring just sitting there, blinding motorists with the glare of headlights reflecting off their foreheads...a tragedy was averted tonight..."...upon release the six Mannings were spotted entering a local eatery named "No Supe For You"...they all ordered the comsomme to avoid the danger of choking...more on this and other breaking wind on KLOD at 10:23....

You have something to dispute?
Go on and say "I think Denver is a better team based on the fact that they always get their asses kicked by the Patriots in a way that is often straight up humiliating."

Or is it that you think Denver is the superior team because they lose to most of the play off teams they play every year?

2012 - lost to every play off team they played, awarded themselves imaginary Lombardi.

2013 - lost to every play off team outside the LoLChiefs they played, awarded themselves imaginary Lombardi, then made whole country laugh in Superbowl after squeaking past an injury ridded, Gronkless, Talibless Patriot team at home.

lol? what does this even mean? You realize teams are different every year right? I think we lost to Denver last game that mattered and it was fairly decisive. I also think that Denver is probably a slightly better team right now (I don't know what the latest is on Browner).

None of this has anything to do with the silliness of your OP. There is a ton of variance in the NFL. To reduce the matchup to a 2 GAME SAMPLE SIZE based on one player being healthy where the Pats were also at home both times is so completely lol it doesn't really deserve a response. Throwing on a replica jersey and thumping your chest on the internet doesn't make you a badass it makes you a sad idiot. The teams are close, no one has the moral high ground or whatever weird bubble-think crap is in your head. There's way too many of these threads on here. Be better.

Denver is a better team when the games are played between Manning ball washers on ESPN around a talk show table.

When they play actual football, the Patriots w/ Gronk turn them into a laughing stock for the entire week.

The only silliness I'm seeing is in you having an aneurysm over me bringing reality back into the discussion concerning where these two teams are.

I think the game(s) vs DEN this year will have to sort themselves out on the field, and that there will be a lot of variables that go into determining the outcome--none (unfortunately) having anything to do with the past.

2 pretty even teams in my opinion, although it's much too early to properly judge one way or the other.

Not meaning to spoil your high, or call you out or anything like that whatsoever. It's just my opinion that the 53 man roster is different every year for a reason, as it's one of the constantly changing variables in football.

Yeah, sure, but we're suddenly Denver's "little brother" in the AFC because?
We bury them consistently. Tom Brady torches them consistently. Peyton Manning plays pretty mediocre against us consistently. We out score their offensive by a significant margin consistently.

So they signed Demarcus Where?, TJ Ward and our injury prone former CB to "give them more physicality." Really, really far from trembling right now.

Just more Denver media hype that doesn't translate to beating the Patriots.
GRONK SMASH

I definitely agree that there's no reason whatsoever to be scared or trembling.

I also think that it's reasonable to expect DEN to be tougher in some areas (and probably weaker in others), just like us.

Should make for a pretty good game, maybe even two. Hopefully if we play them twice, we win the important one this time.

2012 - Cincinnati & Baltimore made the playoffs

2013 - Eagles & Chargers made the playoffs and to say Denver squeaked by the Pats might be reaching a little seeing Denver won by 10 and gave up a Brady rushing td with 3 minutes to go but whatever I guess.

The point is we're always being told Denver is the best team in the AFC. We were told this in 2012 even though we were massacring everyone that season with Gronk and Hernandez, and were one of the more prolific offenses that year in league history. We also essentially blew Denver out until they limped back to within 2 scores in what was basically garbage time.

We got told the same thing last year, spotted them 24 points (at least 17 of which really had nothing to do with their offense, maybe all 24, I forget) and then diced them like an onion in the second half for a pretty humiliating defeat.

They lost to virtually every good team they play, every single season, while FEASTING on bottom feeders who won't make the play offs, and we're all supposed to just skip along with the media's narrative where Denver is #1 and we're #2.

I don't buy it.

Chargers beat you too, and the Eagles are NFC which I didn't intend to include.

Point stands. You're nowhere near as terrifying as your fan base thinks you are.

Deniver scored ZERO points in the first half of the Super Bowl...EIGHT total

way to represent the AFC!!!! YAY Peytie Pout!!!!

Denver beat a New England team decimated by injuries to all pros on both sides of the ball...no excuse, just FACT. Denver was NEVER that good last season. Spin it all you want...8 points is 8points..pathetic.

I hear you. I think both sides and fanbases have the same combination of confidence and concern when these 2 teams meet up.

It reminds me of the old Manning/Indy matchups. Indy was often favored. Sometimes that worked out for them, sometimes it didn't.

We shouldn't fear any team though, but the NEP needed some improvements nonetheless. Hopefully we continue to address those areas.
