Any news on mike mitchell?

Demarius Thomas and Julius Thomas both on rookie deals. Montee Ball, rookie deal.

Their roster isn't clearly the best in the AFC, but Manning overcomes issues like a sucky o-line.

Before the end of the day, they may have the best roster in the AFC.
We haven't done a damn thing to get better.

It's been an hour....lets throw in the towel..lucky to win 5 games next year...lets quit

Yeah yeah yeah. I know you're going to claim I am overreacting. Let's be honest though, Denver was easily the best AFC team last year. Their area of weakness was their defense and this Ward signing will fill a major need. I am not saying BB won't make moves that will improve the team. But to suggest that he doesn't need to keep up with Denver when they are our biggest threat is asinine.

Patriots have signed Vince Wilfork, Tommy Kelly, Armand Armstead, and Mayo.

You have to look at it that way to stay sane.

Seriously, replace or re-sign Talib and go get a guy like Woodyard for that LB rotation, and a pass rusher rotation guy, and I'm happy with our defense.

Doesn't really matter what time it is a lot of players are already signed and we have Hooman signed so far, we have some work to do.

We're DOOMED!!!!

Might as well just put Denver in the SB now. No need to play the regular season.

Denver's making clear upgrades to their secondary. They were already the team to beat in the AFC. Being less than thrilled about the comparison between their actions and the (so far) non-actions of the Patriots is a perfectly reasonable response.

Denver lost Guard Zane Beadles. They will probably also lose Eric Decker. Wesley Woodyard is probably signing somewhere else as well. And that is just off the top of my head.

Denver had a host of holes.

Yeah, Denver need to fill holes at #2 WR, both guards, starting RB, both DEs, #1 CB, and depth in a lot of places. They have a lot of money, but they have a lot to do to be the same team they were last year assuming Manning and Welker haven't hit the age wall before the start of the season.

We're screwed. What time is the game tomorrow again? Hoping to be out of school in time.

Can;t believe Denver just won the SB again

I don't have much faith when our top signing last year was injured in game 1 and played hurt the rest of the year.

Anything short of a nuclear response of impending Patriots doom less than an hour and a half after the start of free agency is just complete and utter homerism.

As NFL.com's Judy Battista predicted earlier today, John Elway's MO has been to make some aggressive day 1 moves in FA, then wait a few weeks, and clean up a few holes at low cost. I pretty much expected them to make some moves. Jared Allen wouldn't surprise me at all.

If FA were over now, Denver would clearly have improved themselves relative to the Pats. :ranger:
