Brady looked like a guy who knows his window has started to close.

Gotta get better next year on both sides of the ball, like the Broncos did last summer. Hopefully we'll see a team that gives Tom and BB a real shot at one last ring.

We don't need to add that much talent Injuries Destroyed this team. Add Wilfork Mayo And Gronk see what changes

We basically didn't have Talib this game, which I think is what really killed us. Add Wilfork, Mayo, Gronk, Talib, Solder, Vollmer, KT, Kelley, etc., and both the offense and defense would be vastly improved.

1. There's no way this was anything except an excellent big-game performance by Manning, even though ...

2. ... a number of his throws were risky. In particular, I agree with the announcers that when Arrington is underneath in tight double coverage, he should at least TRY to make a play on the ball, and if he had in that case, an INT was likely.

3. That wasn't a bad performance by Brady, but it was another of those games where his accuracy was mortal.

4. It's scary how much difference Talib makes.

5. It was the white-smurf receiving corps. If Edelman goes in the offseason, Collie is very likely to be back. Even if he stays, it could happen.

I don't know how denver gets away with pick after pick on passing plays. Amazing

Brady was god awful today...i mean really bad.

BB needs to go draft linemen. Offensive and defensive. Also, quit with the short WRs because they aren't working.

We are getting Gronk, Mayo, Vollmer, and Vince back next season. They will be on a tear

2014 SB Champs: New England Patriots. You heard it here first.

I am right there with you. I'm saying pats over the pack right now

First off, nice season and I'm grateful for the excitement/high hopes the team gives year after year.

This game was a pretty poor performance everywhere but ST's, but this one largely falls on the defense. One stop all game, simply inexcusable. Without making stops and forcing turnovers it's nearly impossible and not realistic to expect the offense to establish any type of rhythm or exert itself the way it can when the defense is actually giving you a shot. Not giving the offense a pass for not performing, but they shouldn't get the majority or even half the blame.

On the plus side, the pathetic effort on D continued even on the last couple drives which alleviated any potential feelings of regret of the offense leaving a few points on the field here and there early on. Because regardless if we were down 13 late, down 6, tied, up 7, the defense was not stopping them to get us one last shot OR protecting the lead. One of if not the worst defensive effort I've seen in the BB era.

Reasons we lost:

1.) their QB was better (by far) than our QB

2.) their OL was better (by far) than our OL

3.) their DL was better (by far) than out DL

4.) Talib injury

Reasons we didn't lose:

1.) Our WRs or RBs. WRs can't catch balls thrown 10 feet over their heads and RBs can't run through DL in the backfield.

I totally disagree with #1. Their QB had talent to pass to which is why he looked better

We got to see why the injuries hurt us today. If we even just had gronk, we have a must better chance.

We all know the game ended in the first quarter when Talib went down. After that there was no one to cover DT. Broncos could have won that game with Tebow. The running game was also a complete no-show.

The running game wasn't a complete no-show. That was on McDaniels. The Pats should have come out running the ball right down Denver's throat. Instead, they came out passing and letting Denver's defense dictate things.

Talib can't get a big money contract. He's good but gets knocked out of commission too easily.

Refs set the tone early with the bogus OPI on the Pats (which took a FG off the board) and the lack of OPI calls on the Broncos (Talib injury and gifted 1st half TD). Game should have been 6-6 at half which would have totally changed the 2nd half. By time the Refs decided to call a fair game, it was over.

Brady missed many open receivers?
He missed Edelman deep badly and in end zone (just like Manning to Decker on 1st drive) but scored on the play after. That was about it, many open receivers lol

He could have forced it to Collie one time with 15 sec left on 2nd half from own 25yds, what more was wide open WRs ?

The number one goal this off season has to be a legitimate outside receiver.

What do you think Dobson and Thompkins are? Chopped liver?

Brady had a really hard time with that Denver air, a lot of those incompletions would have been perfect in NE. I hated the Seahawks yesterday, but I will be rooting for them today and in two weeks! Wilson actually seems like a really nice guy, and I will look forward to Richard Sherman deleting DT.

Yep, more than ever, this team needs to go all in and get some players who refuse to lose their one on one matchups and refuse to leave the goddamn AFCCG with a rib injury. Physically I'd like to see a new training staff because honestly they are soft. If you look at some of the hits that guys on seattle/San Fran are about to take and get up and start jawing they'd make you shutter.

Because PM is their QB. The media and NFL lick his nuts they are so in love with him.

Greg Hardy.

And by the way -- the Patriots made it to the Final Four despite a devastating run of injuries. That's not bad GMing ...

... and yes, I'm aware that certain guys (Gronk, Vollmer, Talib) have now been hurt for multiple season-ending games each.

Last year's AFCCG stung a lot more.

This hurts, but I'm proud of how far the Pats got this season. Rookie receivers and a stupid number of injuries to key players. Too much to overcome in five months.

Gonna have to cheer for whoever wins the NFC Championship, hopefully San Fran.

In a game that Brady had to play perfect because Peyton did, he was not even close.

Wasted possessions in the beginning of the game. Throwing to Slater on 3rd down when Edelman was wide open for a first down? Pretty dumb.

Brady missed opportunities where I think the game would have been different had he hit them.

Our 3rd down defense is pathetic. No creativity in pass rush whatsoever.

We got outcoached and outplayed all over the place.
