One of Denver's top defensive players, Harris left the game in the third quarter with ankle and knee injuries and did not return. Although X-rays were negative, Harris will undergo an MRI exam on his knee Monday morning. It's almost certain Harris won't play in the AFC championship game next week against Tom Brady and the New England Patriots.

Chris Harris, Broncos cornerback, to undergo MRI exam for injuries - The Denver Post

Terrific. Their best coverage player. Anyone else hurt? The Thomas brothers maybe?

Yep. That's really bad news for our secondary/defense in general. He's by far our best and most reliable corner, and when he got hurt today and Quentin Jammer replaced him, that's when our D collapsed.

Always thought Jammer was good. I guess not

Hard to believe tony carter isn't more viable than Jammer at this point

He used to be. Champ Bailey WAS the best corner in the game. I don't think anyone would say that anymore. I still like him playing nickel and covering the slot like he is now, but Quentin Jammer is as far removed from being the Quentin Jammer everyone remembers as Champ is from being the Champ everyone remembers.

That should tell you a little bit about how good Jammer is right now. ;)

He is. I would imagine he'll get the nod next week over him, or at the very least, they'll be subbing in and out for each other and splitting time. We'll see.

That's bad luck for the Broncos. I can't bring myself to cheer an injury to any professional (including A-Rod).

If jammer is out there...throw at him every time

The broncos secondary looks old and slow without chris harris

. @PatriotsXLVIII: Chris Harris would be a big loss for the Broncos. Excellent CB with a 64.9 defensive passer rating, 56.5 comp % and only 1 TD in 1059 snaps.

He's having an MRI right now.

Hope he's okay but, not healthy enough to play. We need all the breaks we can get with our injury riddled team. Especially when Edelman, Amendola, and Collie are basically our only wide outs if Dobson and Thompkins can't go.

The good news (for you) is the Pats don't have any healthy outside threats. Your secondary will be under seige by undersized white guys (Edelman, Amendola and Collie).

Can you provide insight on the Broncos ability to stop the run? The stats don't really tell the story since most teams fal behind early.

What's the deal wh Julius Thomas? Yesterday he had a fumble, an offsides, lined up incorrectly forcing them to take a TO and a drop or two. Was this a one time thing?

Dos anyone know whether this kavon Webster kid is any good?
