Really? I don't hate Miami all that much. The Pats and Jets have a history with each other involving plenty of ill feelings toward the other. Kind of petty to hate a team for doing well. Which I'd say the Dolphins have done well enough to be a contender for the playoffs. Not sure if there's some other reason to loathe the Dolphins?
How old are you? Definitely under 40. Perhaps a New England Patriots history lesson is in order.
Between November of 1966 and January of 1986, The Patriots did not win a SINGLE away game in Miami. They lost NINETEEN consecutive times during nineteen consecutive years. All the while watching The Dolphins be one of the 4 marquee franchises in the league. Throughout the 70's, it was Steelers, Cowboys, Raiders, & Dolphins and that was about it.
Not sure there's some other reason to loathe The Dolphins? Umm... Don Shula, Mercury Morris, Larry Czonka, Bob Griese, etc. etc.
The John Lennon game when Smith missed the 36 yard field goal and choked away the division in 1980?
Followed by years of futility stuck behind the next long Dolphins era of Dan Marino?
For real, your NFL history knowledge stop somewhere in the 90's or something?
Unreal. :bricks:
