Yes, it does. Did I call you hysterical? Did I say Joker was right? All I said was if what he said was true, it casts a different light on your objectiveness. Did I say leave? I'll stand by my statement. You're the one getting defensive. I don't agree with many people on the board but I at least like to know where they're coming from and what their agenda is. It means nothing in terms of whether you or they are welcome. It only gives me background that I didn't have before.


NOTE:
Not that it matters for this conversation but I so don't give a **** about fantasy football and think it ruins the game so that isn't going to make much difference to someone like me (not a knock but just something that really doesn't mean anything in some circles). I assume people don't care who is on their team as long as they generate points for their own team.

Please list for me the #3 quarterbacks available right now as free agents who are clearly better than the one we signed, and don't just say "all of them" without any names (a copout).

Please list names and tell me what they have accomplished and why you think that they are clearly better.

Include Kafka if you wish. What specific skills from Kafka have you seen that made replacing him on the roster a absolute abomination.

And please don't say "Oh I'd rather get a pass rusher since we only keep 2 QBs anyway" . With 90 players in camp you need at LEAST 3 QBS to get on-field reps for all of the extra DBs, TEs, and WRs.

I am pro gay marriage personally and Tebow made a pretty strong statement backing out of that appearance but you can believe whatever it is you want to believe.

He did the original "Leave Britney Alone!" video but the Tebow one looks like a parody of it, done by someone else.

Only good things can come out of this..

1) You know Bill isn't going to let a circus develop here

2) They will have Tebow learning and only focused with the task at hand which is becoming a better football player

3) He has some of the best teachers in the world now, that are great at fine tuning and sharpening raw skills and talent

4) There is not a more better coach in the league at finding players that fit, with a versatile skillset and moving them around to positions, packages or game situations where their contributions can be felt at their highest level against an opponent where they could have the biggest impact.

5) He could play goal line packages, throwing teams off, and lining up anywhere with Tom Brady still on the field. Just think having Tom on the field alone will take defenses attention away from other weapons not to mention defenses will already be focused on stopping guys like Hernandez, Amendola, Dobson, Edelman, Boyce and that talented group of running-backs.. you throw in Tebow, and defenses wouldn't know who is coming or what to do... imagine NE on the 1 yard line, with both Tebow and LeGarrett Blount lined up in the I-formation with Tebow as the lead-back, and then Tom darts it to Jake Ballard for a TD! ok, getting a little carried away lol

6) Like mentioned before, a very talented FOOTBALL player who could contribute in many different areas and who is to say that they couldn't coach him up to be a very good NFL quarterback you never know.

7) His positive attitude, nature and willingness not to give up could infect an already positive and savvy team spirit both on the sidelines and field in which NE already has. That persona and vibe alone could kill other team's confidence during crunch time and key situations.

8) And last but not least, Bill always has a plan....

Talented where? He hasn't shown an ability to run routes, he hasn't shown an ability to catch the football, he hasn't shown the ability to pass protect, he hasn't shown the ability to accurately pass a football, he hasn't shown the ability to consistently read and dissect a defense and he sure as hell hasn't shown the ability to play on D. Where exactly does this Tebow is a talented footballer myth come from? Is it because he has shown a will to win in a position he played for years? If that's what people are positioning, he's a moderately talented Running Back and a below average Quarterback. That may change under Coach Belichick but right now, the title of talented footballer and Tim Tebow, in my opinion, do not go hand in hand.

I remember a highly touted Heisman winning QB who completed less than 50% of his passes per year for several seasons as a starter, and had a season with 8 TDs and 25 INTs. He had many other years with tons of INTs. 62 TDs, 80 INTS in 5 seasons, only once over 50% completions, and that was 51%.

He was awful- no poise, no brains, no heart, and was run out of town on a rail.
