I can only half understand this, I've been there (86 world series) but no, I wouldn't have kicked someone out, LOL!. I did get mad at my brother who got a rise out of me when things went sour during the 96 SB.

In 1986, Game 6, 9th inning of the WS, we let an idiot into my packed dorm room at Boston U. He comes in, watches a few pitches, and the count is something like 1 ball, 2 strikes on Darryl Strawberry. He utters these immortal words: " 2 strikes on Strawberry. That's unusual."

I swear, every Sox fan in the room looked at him like, WTF! Believe it or not, his words changed the order of the universe. And I knew it right there. I wanted to kill him.

This is awesome...because I can relate in a similar manner. Last year a co-worker who is also a Giants fan tried to be "cute" on Monday after the Super Bowl and come into my office with some Giants trinkets. I literally threw her out of the office, explaining to this young whipper-snapper that I had been a Pats fan since well before she was born and if she continued in this manner that I would not be responsible for my actions. HR would have had to intervene, for sure!

In 1986 I was watching Game 6 at a friend's house in Revere. One of my friend's roommates was a Met fan. When the Mets went down 5-3, in the 10th, he had the audacity to slink upstairs to his room...only to come back down to rub it in later. LAME!
