Hmmmmm...doubt they are gonna play the in the middle of the game....on a personal note.....It's questionable to me when a song that was written in the middle of an artillery barrage, that is suppose to represent the strength of our country, is sung like it was being preformed at a funeral. It is a powerful song and should be preformed as such. When the national anthem is sung like is was this past game...(The 5 min version) I honestly believe it does a bit of discredit to the song and what the author had intended it to be. Once again....It's a powerful song representing the power of a nation....performers "Putting their own twist to it"..yes you too Mr. Steven Tyler, is bothersome me. You wanna sing a 5 min version of a song representing the beauty and diversity of our country..sing "God Bless America" or "America The Beautiful".....just sayin'
very moving. I remember that day, it was awe inspiring.
For me its always been ACDC and i found an good video on YouTube with the song thunderstruck

what song does it for you?
I'm not usually one for opera or that sort of thing, but being in the stadium and hearing "Oh Fortuna" being cranked a minute before the kick off is an amazing thing, especially when it's snowing out.
