Yeah, this game's over.

I dunno about husker, but I'm sick of Delhomme. I used to like him, but his idiot antics on the field, and the way the media fellates him despite the fact that he's just above average have tired me out on him. The 108.3 QB rating in the playoffs thing is ridiculous too. QB rating is a bad artificial stat as it is, but a sample size of only 6 games, I'm not ready to pronounce him the best playoff QB ever, or even a good one. That rating is as much circumstance as it is good play.

Yes, about QB ratings, especially that one of 106 or so against the Patriots in SB 38. Most of that was when the Pats defense was decimated by injuries.

Now Steve Smith is throwing a temper tantrum. Could this game get any better?

Well, losing both starting safeties didn't help any, plus his receivers were playing out of their minds that day. Muhammed was a beast, doing most of the work after the catch. I'd still take Delhomme over Manning though.

Hahaha, penalty takes it back.

Edit: What, no? Carolina's thanking the refs.

Jeez, is Triplette's crew working this Seattle-Carolina game? How can you pick that flag up?

Ticky tack call, good that they picked it up. What I saw on replay was the Carolina guy pushing the Seattle guy in the shoulder. I wish we'd had Ed Hochule (sp?) and his crew last week for our game. He 'da best.

That kind of call is garbage. A flag comes out on a punt during the return, the players are going to let up. Why get yourself hurt in a play that is coming back anyway? Then they just pick up the flag? Wow.

Great, a BS crackback call. That's as bad as the Brady one. Apparently hitting someone in the hip on that block is now a foul. Give me a break.

Nope, a latger replay showed he pushed him with 2 hands in the back. Should have been a penalty. NFL trying to keep game close for tv interest. They need to make money.
Yeah, he pulled up but definitely pushed him. Should have been a penalty but, you're right, I think the NFL is trying to keep the game close to make more cash.

Jake's face is starting to look a little pouty, not Manningesk yet but getting close! Gotta love it!

27-7 were is the fat lady.

Nice 1.6 QB rating Delhomme. That's just putrid. This NFC championship marks the death of Delhomme's inflated playoff reputation.

Oy. The Panthers weren't in this one for even a minute.

Not A Good Day For Jakes!!!!
