He comes from Buffalo. State of New York. it's a very special part of the world that you've apparently been lucky enough to avoid. There's basically no reason for it to exist, so the inferiority complex isn't surprising.

I've been to the Patriots Hall of Fame and seen the 3 trophies and not a smear or any taint on anyone of them. That's a fact.

Those are the facts John Harbaugh so you are wrong. You should be fined for conduct not becoming an NFL coach. Oh wait, Rex lowered that bar a few years ago. Just a coincidence that John and Rex came from the same organization?

The Patriots were deemed, by the Commissioner, to have violated the rules. As a result, large numbers of people will consider that as having tainted the Super Bowl victories. Crying about it won't change that, and neither will explaining everything to those people. That's the way it is.

That SOB just tripled the cost of the Stubhubs for that game.

Anybody that doubts espn's ability to shape and form public opinion, look no further than the comment section of their article/video of this story with the Bruschi interview.

The biggest reason why so many people actually believe that the Patriots reviewed and decoded the film during halftime, and that the Pats actually did tape the Rams practices is that the media in general, and many at espn specifically, continue to state those things as facts. It is really no wonder that the public is so badly misinformed about what did and what did not happen with the filming.

This also shows me that the topic is never, ever going to go away; it generates far too large an amount of web hits, viewers and listeners. Though the haters will never admit it, even if (when) the Patriots win another Super Bowl it will not change their viewpoint one bit; they'll just find some other angle to disparage the championships rather than the overused 'haven't won since' phrase.

I don't see it that way, I think he quickly realized how it was being contorted and wanted to set things straight before damage was done, he still appears to be close friends with BB and wanted to make sure that BB and everyone else knew that it was once again the media being ...well, the media.

Would it look better if he let it spiral out of control for a week and then said "oh, by the way, thats not what i meant!"?
