How long until Randle's the latest player ever still in the green room?

d%#*!@t! I was going to turn off the draft after the Pats' picked now I gotta wait 28 more picks.

I am starting to think BB jsut wants to screw with the "draftniks" and the trade chart jsut to do it

So I just came back from being out and I see we picked a guy named Tavon Wilson. From some quick googling, he was projected to go in the 6-7th round and we pick him at 48? I can't even find a highlight reel of him on Youtube (not to say that this guy isn't good or anything).

Seems to me that teh Falcons would have taken him, so your staement is off......

Mike Nolan's love affair with the "Big Nickel" formation, where a third safety is thrown into the mix. With this in mind, we'll take a look at another draft prospect who is on the Falcons visit list, Tavon Wilson.

Wilson spent four years at the University of Illinois, splitting his tenure between playing cornerback and safety. At 6'0", 205 lbs. he appears to have some decent power to him, something Nolan would be immediately drawn to.

He was known as a valuable leader for the Fighting Illini, and his college bio page says he was Illinois' honoree for the Big Ten Sportsmanship Award in 2010. These are two qualities we've come to expect out of prospects The Comrade brings in.

In 2011 Wilson was one of the better defenders on a defense that only allowed 19.6 points per game, ranking No. 15 in the nation.

Interesting. In the comments section falcons fans were calling him great value in the 3rd possibly a second. FWIW

The greatness of Chandler Jones and Donta Hightower cannot be taken away no matter the craziness of Tavon or 3rd/5th that will come.

After this WTF trade you gotta admit that i nailed it with my post saying that BB was DEEP into a fifth of single malt tonite

They went down 28 spots to #90 to pick up a fifth. Good night.

I have ZERO problem with that trade.

After #48, didn't we all say "if you don't like anybody at that spot then trade down, even if it's lousy 'chart value'"?

maybe they plan to trade out of that other pick

that's right, *****es.

just remember where you heard it first.
BB is so predictable.

I wanted a CB, and so did everyone. But, so far other then Jenkins not one other team has taken one. That explains this crop.

I just heard from "sources" that BB is accually reading this thread right now laughing his ass off

This isn't a matter of if he works out or not. This is about WHY pick him at 48. Who were they competing against for him.
Good question but given what the trade of our latter pick netted, I'm inclined to think that no one was willing to offer good value in return for the Wilson pick whereby BB just selected the guy whom he had rated highest at DB. It's not like any other DB went after we selected Wilson and I think that also says something for the worth of the safeties and corners that are still on the board.

well there goes casey hayward to GB. Much rather would have liked him. But hey BB must be in love with what we already have on the roster and thank goodness we still have steve gregory back there.... If all we had was just trayvon wilson then i'd cry. Thank goodness the Pats really nailed it in the 1st round otherwise i'd be highly upset.... Our next picks are gonna be people you've never heard of so dont get your hopes up ladies and gentlemen:cool:

Horrible effing trade value!!,!,!,!

But maybe they got this 5th rd pick so that the can overdraft tavon Wilson again in the 5th

Too may posters here shooting at my man Tavon without provocation

There's something about the second round that troubles Belichick. Don't know what it is...
