There will not be a big market for Moss, if the Pats want him they will get him for short $$$ same with D Branch. The Pats could take a flyer if they think Moss still has the skill set, he could give them a good year with good behavior, beyond a year I don't know.

Given that Lloyd hired Condon the odds of the Pats considering Moss goes up. The off season isn't going to be boring.

I would LOVE to see Moss back but I seriously doubt it. I think the Pats have moved on.

Let's sign Randy Moss, Donte Stallworth, and trade a 2013 5th round draft pick for Jabar Gaffney.

"Forget it. No way."

You are delirious if you think that Moss is a #1 target. If the Pats thought that, he wouldn't have sat out the year. In fact, if they thought he would be a good #3 or #4 WR, Moss would have probably been back. Everything we hear from or about Moss was that he desperately wanted to return to the Pats.

If Moss was to turn into anything remotely close to what he was in 2007 for the Pats' next year, I would be ecstatic. I am a realist though. I saw what he was in 2010 and am not going to make ludicrous excuses for the guy why he underperformed that year and why even though the Pats "wanted him back" in 2011 that he sat out the entire year.

The resign Moss crowd have been begging for him to return for over year now when it seems pretty clear that the Pats have moved on and Moss may be in fact done as a player.

One thing I will agree with is a lot of the WRs listed will not be on the Pats' radar. I am just saying they are better options than Moss. The only two I see franchised are possibly Bowe and Johnson. The only way any of the other WRs get franchised is if the Saints sign Brees to a long term deal and they decide to franchise Colston over Carl Nicks. I also think Stevie Johnson drops a lot of balls and that would be a reason for concern and probably pass on him, but him being able to spank Revis on a consistent basis is worth looking at. I think he will be franchised though.

I dont think he will come in as a number 1. I just think WHEN he comes in, he will do much better than people give him credit for.

I think you will be wrong. I actually hope you are wrong because I think the Jets are the ones who are going to sign him. They can't pay any of the free agents out there since they are up against the cap and they are going to go bargain shopping for a WR who might stretch the field.

I still don't know if he even makes a final 53 man roster. He hasn't been winning a lot the battles for the ball like he used to going back to mid-season of 2009. The only thing he had going for him is his speed. If he is a step or two slower, he will likely hit the age wall pretty hard because speed and his ability to fight for the ball is what made him so good.

FWIW, Bill Polian thinks that Moss has lost a lot of speed and flexibility:

“It was pretty clear he had lost a fair amount of speed and flexibility,” Polian said Tuesday night during our show on Sirius XM NFL Radio. “He was not the same player he was three or four years earlier during his heyday in New England. Since his repertoire of routes was always limited – he was essentially a deep receiver his entire career – losing a step can really hurt your effectiveness.”

Polian.... LOL, lost his job since he couldn't build a team. Irony

Now I just want to see Moss in the Blues Brothers suit and shades doing his best Cab Calloway impersonation.

I think the Jets are going to sneak in and swoop up Brandon Lloyd to replace Burress because they know the Pats want him bad...not sure about their cap though.

I think Moss could be going to the Eagles.

I don't think the Jets have the cap room to sign anyone substantial especially at WR with far bigger holes at saftey and RT.

Forget about Moss. We need to give David Terrell another shot.

As far as I am concerned, the New York Jets can take back James Ihedigbo. For good measure, James Ihedigbo can take Steve DeOssie back to New York with him.

Interesting stuff about Moss' time with Tennessee:

I think if you bring him in, he has to be part of an established group," the first official said. "I don't want him on a young team. But if you're the Ravens, of course the Patriots, or the Giants? You just say, 'Hey, this is what we do. Follow it, or you're gone,' and I think you'll be fine. I don't think he's done."

You think Tom Brady is going to pay Lloyd out of his own pocket? Dang..he must really want him.

I thought that's what he meant as well.... at first glance.

Look a little closer and you will realize that he means Tampa Bay

BB wont bring this cancer back.

Hope Moss sings soon...this offseason is starting to get reaally boring. Even the board is like a ghost town around here.

Why would you think that when 2 years ago he was so bad we gave him away and after that he did nothing for 12 games then sat out a season?
Is it just manlove for Randy, or are you just a believer that time moves backward?
