Tomlinson says Jets locker room 'as bad as I've ever been around'

If there is anyone who would know about being a disruptive, losing, soft, malcontent it would be LT.

Love hearing this, even if it's coming from Lady Tomlinson, one of the biggest ****ies to ever lace up a pair of cleats.

And even better: The kinds of things he's describing seem like they have a lot of potential to linger into next year and beyond. When Rex and fellow lout Tanny are fired, people may point to 2011 as the year it all fell apart. Good news for anyone who hates these thugs.

Simply beautiful!

Interesting....

Reading the threads on this in Jets forums, this interview seems to have served as a tipping point for a fair number of Jets fans.

Our lives have no meaning. They don't need us anymore. The Jets players have their very own "The Jets Suck (merged many times)" thread on the NY Post!

I wonder why people don't attack Felger with this. I remember him going for weeks about how the Jets were showing Patriots that there was another way, maybe a better way to build a team and the organization. Kept on praising the Jets for getting extremely lucky the last two times they got to the AFCCG.
If I were in the Boston area, I would not have let him rest.

He was attacked. I heard him flat out admit to being wrong.

The Jets' implosion is almost as enjoyable as the Pats playing into the AFCCG during the post season. This post season has been a real treat for Pats fans thus far.

Imagine the Jets' fans' heads exploding if the Pats play the Giants in the Super Bowl and the Jets release Santonio Holmes a few weeks later.

What is presently occuring in the Jets "house" was predicted from the beginning. It was only going to work if they kept on winning. That's the problem with Bravado if it's not backed up. Eventually it turns on it's fellow man because obviously I (and that's a general term meaning the player, not me specifcally) can't be all the problem.

As long as "I" preceive someone else's issue to be beigger than mine can't be so bad. This is pretyy much diametrically/opposite of the patriot way.

Felger and the other squeaky voiced dude on that show are all about being the big bold non kool-aid media types.

Squeaky is a Red Sox jock sniffer and a baseball yahoo who tries flexing his anti Patriot muscles by laughing at the no name defensive players the Pats have fielded this year (you know...the ones who will be starting in the AFCCG Sunday).

Felger tries to shock you by kissing up to Wrecksie the clown and complimenting the Jester way (signing overpriced divas as opposed to building the line depth/letting the players run the clubhouse..etc). More times than not his facts are skewed or spun (either purposely or due to stupidity).

Both doo baggies are starting to realize how stupid it sounds and are now trying to jump on the Patriot band wagon. Stick with DA or Zo if you want to hear non biased facts.

Sometyinmes I almsot feel sorry for the victory starved jets fans hiding in their mommy's absement.

But then I read that some Jetski doofus thinks that the Santonio Holmes contract and being fired by his teamates out of the hddle on the field, is no impediment to trading him for a premium draft pick.

After the Steelers dumped the fool for a mere 5th before all this crap hit the fan.

Then I read where they think a coaching and front office house cleaning isnn't needed at all. They actually beieve signing a few players will vault them back into contention. On Offense alone, they need three starting offensive linemen, two RBs, three WRS, a sub TE, and by the way, a QB. Not to mention the dross all over the Defense, where at least five new starters are needed.

They fail to see 4-12 beckoning. How blind can fans be?!?

Jets fans are like wife beaters. When something goes wrong, they take it out on the wife(team) then after they calm down, they apologize and tell them how much they truly love them, acting as if everything that happened before never happened.

No, they will always need us to remind them. They have the collective attention span of knats and we should instill in them the complete and utter misery of thier hopeless existence and thier useless failures. Do not pity these cretins.

Felger admitted he was wrong? About the Jets? I didn't hear that.

What I heard last week was him saying the Patriots and their fans shouldn't be doing a "victory lap" because just one year doesn't prove anything, after the Jets went further than them the previous two years.

And yes, I changed the station/

The only mistake you made was tuning into the station in the first place.

I just finished watching the Inside the NFL episode with LaDanian and I will say that I hate him a little bit less after the episode. He was very candid about everything that happened in the Jets locker room even joking that the players referred to the feud between Sanchez and Holmes as the "East Coast/West Coast Beef" (Sanchez from California and Holmes from Florida). He talked about how the Jets coaches picked the captains and that the players didn't have any say at all. Sapp, Simms, and Collinsworth were all dumbfounded when he said that.

He was also complimentary of the Patriots saying that no team makes in game adjustments as well as the Patriots. He also picked them to win the AFCCG. Finally, he touched on 2007 when he called the Patriots "classless" and basically said that he was angry after the loss and heard the Pats had said a few things so he decided to take a few shots back.

I agree that he came off as objective and candid. Seems like he may be using this media exposure to try out for a new career, and, from what I've seen, he'll do well at it. If he plays again, I'll be surprised if he's back with the Jets. He seems to have completely distanced himself from the team, consistently referring to the Jets as "they."

There are some valid points in there, and he speaks well, but LT just continues to prove what a conceited prick he is.

Why... WHY did you have to go to the media and sell out a bunch of your (soon to be former) teammates?

Feeling a little low, LT? Didn't get enough touches this year? Wanna clear your name up, make sure no fan or media member hurls any blame at you?

He's like a damn spoiled teenager. Grow up, dude.

Not many LT threads and not many in the future so please let me rehash my favorite LT story. 2007 they came in for a playoff game and stayed in the hotel down the street in Quincy. My regular cabbie took LT and a couple cronies out for a steak dinner. It was snowing and coming in on 93 LT starts his *****ing "what is there to do around here, no beaches no clubs what do you guys got?". To which my clever cabbie quickly retorted "we got rings!"
