The last game I remember against the Chargers was when Stan Humphries, slack jawed, dazed and having no idea who or where he was, had his eyes wide open but still couldn't see what hit him as the Patriots won in a blow out.

Get all your guys on the juice again and try to cheat your way to a championship. And tell Merriman he looked like a complete idiot on the CBS Halftime show.

Hey I'm with saying the pats aren't the same team. Because the Chargers aren't the same team. The patriots don't have the most clutch post season kicker in the game. And the Chargers have the AFC kicker for the pro bowl on their side. The Chargers have improved dramatically since last season and have soared to the leagues best record. I don't see the patriots hanging with us.

That's ok. You can keep thinking that if you want.
The Patriots beating overconfident teams is nothing new to us.
The Chargers are a great team but the Pats will prevail.

WOW. No chinks in the SD armor? I'd beg to differ. Your very thin in your LB corps. Your secondary is also suspect.

The Chargers tend to be overconfident. That is how you nearly lost to the Seahawks and Cardinals and Bills.

And, well, the biggest CHINK in the armor is Marty Schottenheimer.

The key to stopping the chargers is to stop LT. If you stop LT, the Chargers an an average team.

Average team? #1 scoring offense. Gate led all TE in TD's. Rivers was solid all year. Our O'line is one of the tops in the league. Do I even need to go into our Defense? Try #1 in sacks. Try the #1 sack tandem in the NFL Merriman and Phillips. Not to mention all our starters are going to back & healthy for the 1st time in weeks. Here's another fact... You will not be able to run on this D. Brady is in for a long day.
