Anyone nervous about the Giants next week?

They should go on a run, we are still capable of a 1st seed.

Manning puts up career best #s next week, unless the weather's bad

Cruz is about to have a game

What about the "give Belichick 2 weeks to prepare" mantra? Is that too 2004 now?

It's called new rules where players are allowed more days off. And in turn it effects, you know, things that sucked today, like tackling, execution, etc...it's not rocket science that the bye week has affected a majority of teams around the league this year with the new rules.

And on a side note. People that are extremely negative after a loss, to the point where you wonder why someone is even a fan of the team is almost more disgusting then when people are overly positive about their team.

Some of you need to learn how to be objective and not lean so far left or so far right.

To who said "this team will lose to the Dolphins at home". Your evidence to that is because they lost a tough game IN Pittsburgh to a great Steelers team?

Give me a ******* break.

posters on this forum tend to oversensationalize everything...when we win "were going to the superbowl!!" when we lose its "the sky is falling!"

as dissapointing as it is, the Pats are not going to go 16-0...the whole team laid an egg today...poor execution on offense, and the defense regressed to their old ways...could it be lack of focus with the 5days off?? possibly.

all I know is that Bill Belichick is going to tear into them this week and they should come out next week much more prepared

oh, and yes this team could lose to the dolphins, just like the giants almost did, and the Saints(who are a playoff team) got blown out by the rams....its the NFL..anyone can lose any week

Whatever you say fan boy. It was the new rules. It was the bye. The Steelers were mean to us.

Nobody's calling the season a brick so quit brewing a fondue in your panties. Today was a brick however and people are going to be pissed. It's called REALITY.

By the way, there was a time when this team was the one inventing ways to BUCK TRENDS like this year's bye effect instead of surrendering to them.

That said, the chances of beating the Giants are solid.

I am not scared of the Giants especially with that debacle with Miami today. They will score some points, but Brady will rebound and get it done. I'm more worried about the Jets on Sunday night! The Steelers obviously wanted to win this game and played very hungry to win. I am still saying this team will go no worse than 12-4 which will be good enough for at least the #2 seed.

No pass rush + terriable secondary = not a good team. You can't expect the offense to carry them every week, just ask Marino

Anyone? If the D plays like this again they lose...so yes i am nervous

I think anytime the Pats play against a GOOD team with good coaching....you SHOULD be nervous. This O is very one dimensional and non creative....and the defense is just NOT good....a lot of heart attacks and heartburn again this year....

Victor Cruz is gonna have the easiest 100 yards of his career.... LOL. I'm gonna start him in fantasy

This season is going from strange to weird. It seems every week in the NFL there's upsets and anyone can beat anyone.

that's if they win the division. problem is buffalo is right there with us. if the pats go 12-4 but lose again to buffalo it's the wild card for the patriots most likely.

I watched them toady against Miami.

Our secondary will be no match unless we can put pressure on Eli

Looking at Buffalo schedule, they still have the Jets twice, the chargers and Cowboys on the road plus Tennessee. Even if they split with the Jets and lose another road game, they will be 11-4 going in the last game of the season at Gillette.

With the way this team is playing what would make any rational person think the outcome in the playoffs will be any different this year no matter where they finish in the regular season. The D is worse than last year and the offense is playing about the same.

The Pats had one of the top rushing offenses before this game. The offense is anything but one dimensional.
