Rub dirt in it and take a lap. He's fine. He'll start this week.

I bet you can't run fake plays by taking direct snaps out of punt formations with a cast on one hand.
But, he might handle it better than the last one...just kidding, I love PC.

I'm still coveting Darren Sharper.

It surely doesn't seem like any NFL teams are coveting him.

After several teams looked at him and did not sign him (including the Pats), the lowly Broncos apparently had him in for what they called an "injury and shape status" visit today.

They made sure to let all of the newspapers and fans know that they were never really looking to sign him, after they promptly sent him back home on the plane.

It doesn't appear as though anyone wants him, and I'd have to guess that he may be done for good. Coming back from a somewhat serious injury and having a pretty horrible season last yr did not help his cause, but it looks like there may be more to the story than even that. It looks like he is still injured, or at least has lingering effects, and/or is just out of shape.

It does not appear he has missed a lot of games in his career, but he is one of those players that is always injured.

No matter what, he's giving 100 percent every time and we need that kind of player.
I will leave this one here:

Is that the most effeminate looking block of all time or what?

Fabulous!

We should have kept 6 safeties ... better yet 6 of every position to cut down on the I told you so posts.

This stinks, but don't even rule him out for the weekend though. It isn't unpresidented for a player to have surgery on his finger and not miss a game. Ellis Hobbs had wrist surgery and didn't miss time his last year here. I am not betting on it, but wouldn't be shocked to see him in the line up on Sunday. He did play after his injury.

Fabulous!

I think on the audio you can hear him yell "thstop itttt!" as he blocks the FG

Wonder if they can extend the brace and cast an extra 6" to help his pass defense ? ;)

It's only a thumb, suck it up sissy and play!

If Chung had a pin placed in his thumb....which would help the bone stability short-term, just putting a cast on it does not necessarily prevent Chung from putting stress on the bone if he was in the act of tackling....and messing up the bone even more..

I hope he's out there Sunday...but I would guess that the Patriots are going to take a somewhat conservative approach with our #1 safety. Its a long season.

Chung OUT vs Buffalo. Wow. Josh Barrett, James Ihedigbo and Sergio Brown at safety. Wow. :bricks:

Uh oh. I said it during the preseason and I'll say it again: any down where Ihedigbo is on the field as a safety is a disaster waiting to happen. He's terrible.

I just hope that in some future NFL documentary it doesn't reveal that Ihedigbo was a double agent plant by the Jets.

I'm going to close my eyes and pray somewhere, somehow, Molden is waiting in the wings.

it's not big deal, our defense sucks anyway, we only need Toms arm to win our games

Reiss just tweeted to Chung is on his way to practice now.
