Do you think that by passing on other DE that BB thinks that Brace is the future RDE?

how many guys can you add , if ty and brace come back and play well then stroud backs them , the where are going to put the new guy. If he does not get reps he will not develop.

Brace is a two-down run stuffer, but offers nothing in the pass rushing department.

The NFL is a passing league and for years the Pats pass D has been a vulnerability in key moments.

Brace, Warren and Wilfork are the starters in the 3-4.

Stroud is for insurance. We got Love, Deadrick and we'll probably draft a low pick to compete with them. Hopefully Wright recovers.

I didn't see DL as a need coming into this draft and I was surprised that most people did see it as a need. Yes, we can upgrade at the position, but you can say that about any of them. Don't discount the progression of the younger players on the DL. They won't disappoint.

Our DEs in passing situations are OLBs by trade.
The DEs in the 34 play DT in the sub.
We aren't getting a great pass rush improvement from our 34 DE.

Warren, Stroud and Brace, if all are healthy make as good a rotation in 2011 than adding a rookie from 17 on would have given us.

Given the current makeup of the team, he'd better be, and he'd better be much improved.

Thanks Andy. Assuming (and I am assuming, looking at the last two days) that Warren is fully healed, this is NOT a position of need. Our DE's are DT's in other systems. AND they two gap. Name me one other TWO GAP DT who is a ferrocious pass rusher. Please, people understand the system.
