Does BB HATE every single pass rusher in this draft? Doesn't seem like he's drafting for next year and more of for the next few years.

I get the feeling he just hates the entire draft this year. Seems like everything from round 3 on is going to be camp fodder.

......and with the next selection the New England Colts take......

We have lost our way and I'm afraid we will not get back on the championship trail for years to come.

Shut up!

Packers picked Rodgers when favre was 34.... whats brady? oh 34...

I'm so glad I'm just a fan of the pats. Because I would have completely screwed up what the pats wanted to do in this draft if I was in control.

Hey at 6'7" he can see over our bookend tackles for the next decade... Trade Brady for a couple first rounders and then draft some more RB's... lol

At least having Ryan Mallett will make preseason more interesting. So..there's that...

Mallett is a smart pick. Can't believe there wasn't an OG or DE/OLB that he wanted more than Ridley

I LOVE the Mallett pick....I was hoping they would pick him up a week ago but thought they needed to do it in the 2nd.

Steven Ridley....not real happy on this pick....first one this draft I seriously question. Still, like everybody here, waiting to see what they do for the pass rush.

The worst case senerio

Ryan Mallett is a like having a future draft pick to be cashed in in one, two , or three years. (like Matt Cassel)

Every pick is someone with upside!!!!!

Unfortnately I live on the flipside

How bad would this Pats mock have been blasted:

17. Nate Solder OT
33. Ras I Dowling CB
56. Shane Vereen RB
73. Stevan Ridley RB
74. Ryan Mallett QB

Yeah, good point, because Bill didn't sh** the bed at ALL.

I figured we'd see more defensive than offensive players drafted for the Pats.

Pretty far off:
4 O's : 1 D.

It is hilarious when you clowns read a couple mock drafts and then think you know more than BB and the rest of the Pats personnel staff. we have been hearing the same idiocy since Richard Seymour/David Terell. It is really getting old. Face it, what has been proven over the last ten years is that the media and you are clueless.

Really need to resign Mankins if the team is going to have any sort of respectable running game with these two rookies.

I sense a shift in the offensive identity of this team, and I like it. Maul people.

Going to need serious progression from 2nd and 3rd year players (Chung, Butler, Brace, Spikes, Cunningham, McCourty...) to remain competitive on defense this year.

Don't worry the normal group of homers will spin this as a great draft.
