Hey guys,

I'm running an interactive mock draft with the fan forums of all NFL teams where the fans get to vote and make the pick for their respective team.

So far the fans have voted:
Carolina - Fairley
Denver - Dareus
Buffalo - Newton
Cincinnati - Green
Arizona - Bowers
Cleveland - Peterson
San Francisco - Von Miller
Tennessee - Blaine Gabbert
Cowboys - Prince Amukamara
Redskins - Julio Jones
Texans - Robert Quinn
Vikings - Ryan Mallett
Lions - Tyron Smith
Rams - Aldon Smith
Dolphins - Mark Ingram
Jaguars - Christian Ponder
Patriots - ???

You can vote for the player you want the Pats to select here:
Football Draft Notebook - Interactive Mock Draft

Also, if you write a short 3-sentence description as to why this player should be drafted in this thread, I will pick out the best write-up and post it in the mock draft section along with your name!

***Also for mods, I hope you don't see this as spam. I am just trying to get the right fans to vote for their team, so we get the right mock draft. If you have any problems, please let me know.

I'd say either Cameron Jordan or JJ Watt. No one else makes sense this high.

LeBron James, OLB, Miami.. or JJ Watt.

So far, two votes for Kerrigan, 1 vote for Jordan in the poll.

Trade down

Cam Jordan. Not sure kerrigan can play olb. Cam can play de in our 3-4. Then move outside in our nickel package 4-2-5.

I really like Cameron Heyward but I have to take the other Cameron Jordan if he's there as he is here.

I’d trade down. If not select Cameron Jordan California - He is a stout run defender. Understands gap responsibilities in the 3-4 defense. Has the long arms to keep defenders away. He possesses very good strength to be a five technique defensive end. High-effort player. Father was a six-time Pro Bowl tight end.

I'd vote for Cameron Jordan as well...

Cam Jordan is overrated. Go with Watt

No player has won my heart yet although I have been flirting and dating several.

If I had to make the pick today, it would be Cam Jordon.

Cam Jordan

If the draft fell like that ...

Ryan Kerrigan, DL, Purdue.

Purdue has a history of producing defensive ends who successfully transition to linebacker in the NFL. Kerrigan is yet another of those hard charging Purdue defensive line products known for getting after the passer while playing heads-up run defense. Kerrigan's demonstrated agility and mobility in Combine linebacker drills argue for his ability to learn and execute coverage assignments as an outside linebacker for the NE defense.

Jordan is probably the best value there, but I'm going to go with Brandon Harris. I'm not convinced Jordan, Kerrigan, Clayborn, or Watt will fit right away, from a physical stand-point, on the Pats. Harris is a definite upgrade over Butler and Whilite and he can also return kicks. In the first round you want to guarantee you are upgrading your team and that makes Harris the safest pick.

I like the way you think. Selecting Harris would be something I could envision the Patriots doing, although I feel they would trade down a bit first (a la 2010). Two other names to keep in mind besides Harris if they trade down are defensive linemen Cameron Hayward and Muhammad Wilkerson.

Toss up between Jordan and Watt. Went with Watt. Irrational exuberance for his upside.

I like the fact Heyward gained weight and is positioning himself for 3-4 end. His pro day will be telling. Wilkerson might be a bit high for 17. He'll probably go in the second round.

Two other potentials I didn't mention that would fit value and need with minimal question marks are Anthony Castonzo and Derek Sherrod.

Right now Watt leads with 12 votes

Followed by Jordan at 11

Keep voting guys!
