Re: Jay Glazier Tape (merged)

Just gamesmanship.
I thought Welkers foot comments were gamesmanship. (which got all the jets fans panties in a knot) This is just BS and calculated BS at that.

Gunnails, that has got to be the absolute most stupid thing you've ever posted. It's not gamemanship. It's BS. Not to mention that Glazer isn't a Jets reporter and Glazer was neck deep in the Camera BS..

Re: Jay Glazier Tape (merged)

Does this really surprise anyone ... most of the allegations and so called 'cheating' tactics that come to light prove to be more widespread than the single incident that brought the infraction to light.

That is all i will say .. i do not want to getting warned for some sort of 'infraction' here =)

Like Spygate/Cameragate that Fraudell screwed the Pats with.

Your lucky if you were to get a warning, I just got banned without being rude to anyone, just stating the facts. But I guess when you haven't won since 69' you have less patience.

Re: Jay Glazier Tape (merged)

Here's my question....

This whole whiny, tattle-tale culture was started by the Rats and Spy gate.

When does this Rat behavior stop.

If there's a scrum in the pile and in the fight for the ball, a Jet get's his nuts punched or an elbow ground in his throat....are they going to complain. Those are illegal, but have become never broached part of the game. It's expected.

I think the Rats and Goodell put the game under a micrscope and it's slowly turning into a sterile boring fiasco.

LOL .. good one.

Re: Jay Glazier Tape (merged)

To be fair, it looks by the tape that the player tried to trip him but it is really hard to tell by the angle for sure. It was clear that it wasn't a true player wall.

i dont necessarily think it was the Jets .. but I do think Goodell is definitely guilty of your charges... the game is becoming WAY to sterile.

Re: Jay Glazier Tape (merged)

I wonder how long the Jets have been sitting on this footage, and who was the former Pat practice squadder who squealed? :bricks:

Re: Jay Glazier Tape (merged)

anyone else bracing for what charlie casserly will have on the cbs pregame show ?

Re: Jay Glazier Tape (merged)

BTW, as I said with the Jets doing the wall, the only problem I had with it is the tripping. If the Pats' player did try to trip the Jets player, I do have a problem with it. The only real part of the sideline wall itself that is cheating is having unauthorized people line up there. Players about to go into the game are not unauthorized.

BTW, I am sure this story timing is not a coincidence. I am sure the Jets leaked it this week.

To me, it looks like the player turned his shoulder.

The footage is really poor.

It is hard to tell from that angle. Angles can be really tricky. I can see how you argue that he did try to trip him though.

But you do admit that there is a difference in making a wall which every team does - and tripping

... players have been kicked, punched, tripped on the opponents sidelines since the game was invented.

Re: Jay Glazier Tape (merged)

The funny thing about this and "spygate" is that the Jets think Goodell is in Robert Krafts pocket and nothing will happen to the pats. They must think losing a first round pick is no big deal.

Re: Jay Glazier Tape (merged)

I wish Goodell would stop trying to look for people/teams to punish and focus on more important things.

Re: Jay Glazier Tape (merged)

This is quite a reach by Glazer.... The Pats were uniformed players about to enter the game and can legally be in the area, unlike the Jets situation. Further, there is nothing there to suggest an attempt to trip other than a player turning his back and even then it's inconclusive, at best, and the player did not trip.

I shouldn't be surprised by this though, Glazer is the same douche that has a copy of the Jets spygate tape and shows it at parties.
