Nope. But nice why to spin. Do you work for FOX News? I said there was no PR campaign. Polian has talked about the injuries, but I have yet to see where he used it as an excuse for anything. Please show me where I have said anything to the contrary. The numbers haven't changed, don't act like they did. The only thing that has changed is the context of tobias' quoting of Polian. His initial post would lead you to believe that he made those comments this week leading up to this game instead of two weeks ago before the Eagles game. I'm waiting for an example of an excuse or anything dealing with the Patriots game. Heck I'm still waiting for something leading up to the Bengals game.

Bud, you're nitpicking. I doubt you even believe what you're posting at this point.

Even if Polian said it 5 years ago, it would still lead to the same conclusion: the GM of your team has no problem making Favre-like pre-excuses to explain the possible poor future play of the team he runs.

I personally don't care if you concede the point or not. The facts are there for everyone to see. Nitpicking whether it was 5 or 10 days ago only makes you look homeriffic.

I have no problem admitting that if anyone on the Patriots ever said anything like that, I would be embarrassed both for them, and the team. :)

Here's the Q&A, provided by the Patriots' media relations staff:

Q: You guys have dealt with a lot of injuries this year. How has that affected your team and what has been the attitude in the locker room?
JC: Obviously we’ve adapted. I think that’s the thing we talk about and follow through on. We’ve had some pretty key losses, but we don’t use any of that as an excuse. You just have to depend on guys who are next in line to be able to step up and perform, and we’ve been able to get that for the most part.

Not everyone feels the way you do.

BB says plenty. It's just that 0% of it is excuse-making or whining. It's the Patriot Way, which is very different from the Colts way.

let's review,

the Patriot Way
the Colt Way
the Patriot Way
the Colt way
the Patriot Way
the Colt way
any questions?

:rofl::rofl::rofl:

They will also apparently respond to gibberish.

Well, if Polian doesn't fix that team's offensive line, Captain Neckbolts is eventually going to wind up getting seriously hurt. When that happens, the Colts will apparently go winless, from the way Colts fans talk.

Who knows? Seems a strange point to concede, given what Cassel could do when Brady went down. Whoever that perpetual backup is, watzizname, might be the next Cassel. It just takes coaching and middling material, right? Especially with great receivers like the Colts have. I think Reggie Wayne could make Rex Grossman look good, for Christ's sake.

Maybe the coaching staff there has a better feeling that they could survive a manning injury than the fanbase. There's no reason to think they couldn't compete - they're just untested in terms of an important injury like that.

A few hours until the prescuses turn into the excuses. Can't wait!

You obviously did not see Curtis Painter after Caldwell pulled Manning against the Jest last year. That dude is a bum.

amen. If Manning ever goes down, that team is screwed royally

Absolutely. I doubt they even win 4 games. But lucky for Manning he seems to have avoided the major injury to this point.
