It's funny that the NFL complained, since there's no NFL footage in there

Just curious, why did they take it down?
I can answer this, the a-holes at youtube get so pissed off at copyright stuff even if its your own creation.

well, it was the NFL who complained

I don't understand why the nfl would have a problem with a highlight video

me neither, especially because it was just him in college.

Yeah wouldn't it be the NCAA or whatever TV station you got the clips from that would have a problem if anyone would?

yes...i'm surprised ESPN didn't ***** since most of the clips were taken from ESPN with their logo on it. But ESPN knows not to care enough and they know it's just even more free marketing for them. NFL is stupid. nuff said

It seems that youtube has only recently started to care about copyright stuff. Does it have anything to do with them being purchased by google?

So does that mean they are going to wipe out thousands and thousands of videos taken from TV & movies?

Has anyone noticed if all NFL videos are now gone?

In the past 2 days I've noticed a LOT of clips on Youtube have been taken down. Google is about to pay alot of money for something that is becoming more limited as we speak.

I put it on my site, if anybody wants it. It's just under 19 MB in the WMV format:

They removed all my NFL related clips. The bs pass interference call on Samuel in the Denver playoff game last year, a clip from ESPN of them talking about the bad officiating in the playoffs, a commercial I had from the NFL network (All Kinds of Time) that they don't show anymore and the Maroney return from last week. I love NFL football but, the league is such a douche. They won't even let their own affiliates show a game past 4:15. So instead the talking heads sit there and keep showing you hi-lites. They won't let local media on the field of a nationally televised game. All this over protective bs hurts them more than it protects them. They really need to get a clue.

For those of you who are torrent-savvy, I've posted a .torrent for the Maroney kick return here.

It's a quick unedited cap, and in .divx format (~16 MB).

I'm self-seeding on two machines - I will leave it up for a couple of days.

WOW, I just went to check on my Tom Brady highlight video and exact same thing happened. Strange.......

Guys, these things are COPYRIGHTED for a reason.

It's about time YouTube did something about their blatant illegal activity.

If you want to distribute NFL videos (or any other league for that matter), you have to obtain the rights to them. Welcome to life.
