San Diego needs receiver help badly now.

My first choice would be the Broncos, just makes for a perfect fit there. If they pass, then Chargers. No way he lasts till Chiefs and even if he did, it is a terrible fit for both sides.

Valid points by BSPN analysts... the ideal match would be with an entrenched coach and a solid veteran team.

McDaniels may have the respect of Moss from his days in NE, but Orton isn't hurting from the loss of Brandon Marshall. Why bring in the distraction? Especially considering the team is teetering on imploding with losses to the Raiders and 49ers.

*I think it makes more sense for the Broncos to bring in Merriman. The loss of Elvis Dumervil has left them with zero pass rush and it would be a shot at the Chargers.

Pioli wouldn't make the move unless he was sure that both his head coach and Weis could manage Moss. The preparation from week to week may not be exactly like Bill runs his practices in NE, but no doubt that KC is acting like the Patriots of the AFC West.

I favor the Titans and Chargers for two different reasons.

The Titans have the entrenched coach that won't be afraid of Moss taking him down with his media comments and lack of effort. Kenny Britt is hurt, but I wonder if the QBs will be treated like Daunte Culpepper in MIN. What will stop Moss from ripping into Vince Young? Can Kerry Collins be the leader that Moss needs at the helm? Inevitably, this will be a failure.

The Chargers are in need of a WR and they know that the juice is worth the squeeze... the AFC West can be won and Rivers is a QB that can keep Moss in his spot; his bark is louder and I have no doubt he would bite as well. Norv Turner is a year away from being fired, so the risk is worth it, but AJ Smith doesn't deal with players like Moss.

Good analysis. I voted for the AFCW, for similar reasons, though I also don't believe that weird Uncle Al would place a claim for the Ratio. The Tittians & Doofins wouldn't surprise me at all, either.

Edit: I wouldn't put it past ManJudas to to claim him either, as if he thought he was pulling a fast one on Bill or something.

No announcement yet? You'd figure that one of the top 20 teams would have claimed him by now.

I know they'll award him by 4 pm but word should have leaked out there by now...

...unless no one is claiming him.

KC. In that division, they need to go for it NOW and go into the playoffs with 1st round homefield advantage.

AFC south - titans

Personally I agree with Lombardi

The best place for Randy Moss to go is New Orleans

1)They have a coach who could be the next great mind in football
2)They are Super Bowl contenders again
3)They have a QB who also could be the next great one
4)They have a smart F.O. and a solid coaching staff and the TEAM plays as a TEAM
5)They have really good receivers but no one to stretch the field or use as a decoy

The New Orleans Saints are the BEST next stop in the Randy sweepstakes

I kind of agree that the best place mentally for Moss is NO. I know BB prepared him for the season, so hes physically able to be great, and you covered some good points. Tho you were overly kind.

In respects to #5, Henderson is faster than Moss, and is our deep ball guy. If you combined Henderson and Colston together into one player, that guy would be better than Moss, and 1/10 the money.

Since the Pats and the Saints have very similar systems, conduct, and expectations, I agree he would do well here. Brees might be able to keep him inline like Brady did. We have a history of helping guys like Hargrove turn his life around.

Im pretty sure tho
#1 someone will clam him on wavers before we do.
#2 if Payton is even interested, he will be contacted in the next week or so. Paytons history is that he doesnt believe in big name players. He usually looks for a bunch of low priced players that are better than average. Hence Colston + Henderson = a Moss, at a lower cost.

But your right he would do well here.

interesting, we do have a history of signing your players. I think Payton would call BB to get his advise.
