Reiss: Outburst was with O'Brien, not Belichick

I'm very satisfied with what Randy's done here. I hope he enjoys the circus in Minnesota. The inmates run the asylum there. He'll like it...at first.

How many points do think the PATS will ring up against Baltimore?
O'Brien has 2 weeks to gameplan
Lemme guess the flow....
1st down....Lawfirm up the middle for 1 yard
2nd down....Handoff to Morris on a sweep for -5 yards
3rd down....Brady forces to Welker incomplete or...
Brady gets smacked and fumbles.....

Face it New England
BB has decided that this is a bridge year and will waste yet another season of Brady's prime.
Enjoy 7-9

Enjoy watching your JETS this season!

Hey DABruinz i am not drinking wat BB is selling.Listen i dont agree with Moss's actions but this could all have been avoided if they would have extended his contract!I think the coaching staff has regressed and thats my opinion as a fan.

They did it with Seymour last year.

Basically if you're a star and this team doesn't re-sign you to a longer term deal with 1 year to go, the writing is on the wall.

As for what happened at halftime, there was definitely a confrontation between Moss and offensive coordinator Bill O’Brien, which was first reported by Mike Reiss at ESPNBoston.com.

According to the source, Moss implored O’Brien to make some adjustments. The receiver, of course, only saw one pass thrown in his direction as the Pats trailed 7-6 at the time, and that pass came on an audible from Tom Brady.

The session really got heated, because O’Brien, in turn, spouted off at Moss for questioning him and his playcalling, the source said.
BostonHerald.com - Blogs: Rap Sheet Blog Archive What really happened on the plane ride with Randy Moss? And in the locker room at the half?

If this is what really happened, then Bill O'Brien had better do a hell of a job the rest of the way. His own QB will be pissed at him if this team doesn't keep winning and his coordinator alienated his best offensive weapon. O'Brien should develop the attitude AFTER he's actually done anything in this league.

O'Brien is a doofus. Moss is the only player on the team with any guts to call him out for what he is.

Watch and see how Childress uses Moss from here on out.

I'm sure Brady has let O'Brien know that he's no McDaniels or Weis, but Brady probably used a little bit of tact.

I think Moss has earned the right to question O'Brien. Lets face it, we were the WORST 2nd half offense last season and a LOT of it had to do with O'Brien. The offense did NOT look good in the first half and Randy supposedly was "imploring" O'Brien to make adjustments (I know, make more plays to get Moss the ball, etc).

Moss was right though. O'Brien can't make 2nd half adjustments to save his life, why the hell should Moss just nod his head and ignore that fact. If this offense falls apart now I EXPECT O'Brien to lose his job. Please Bill, get a real OC.

I really can't blame Moss. If I were him or Brady (you know, HOF players) I'd probably be pissed with O'Brien too. If his job is to call plays and make adjustments and he can't do either, he can't do his job. Period.

All of what you said is true, but i doubt this is what got him traded. How many times have you seen blow ups on the sidelines between players and coaches and no one was traded

Ouch, if true this has the potential to get very ugly and right quick with the Ravens defense around the corner.

Sure wish Randy sat down with Bill and told Bill that his choice for OC sucked and left it at that!

It may well have been a factor. I'm sure BB wouldn't like a player questioning a coaches knowledge/skill and fighting with them. I think BB's ego might be a problem, he should have brought in real coordinaters, this "by committee" crap just doesn't work.

What got Moss traded was flipping out at Bill O'Brien for his terrible play calling and lack of adjustments, and getting in a shouting match when O'Brien equally flipped out defending his adjustments.

In the end, it sucks that the inexperienced hasn't-done-anything coordinator wins out over the Hall of Fame 2nd best receiver ever.

I just can't wait to see what happens when we get absolutely destroyed by the Ravens and the offense puts up more zeros in the second half. O'Brien might need to consider hiring a personal body guard.

Sometimes tact isn't enough. Maybe this is such a case where the turd needs to be called a turd.

How nice to see Pats fan actually waiting for us to fail. I guess that will allow you to say "Told you so!.

Even if that happens it's not like BB can can the guy. Who's he gonna get to replace him with? BB can't co-ordinate offense, he's already doing that on defense in addition to being the HC. Unless he thinks he can do all 3 at the same time

I'm calling it as I see it. O'Brien has ZERO experience and his track record is vomit inducing. All he has to do is call the plays and he has Bill freakin' Belichick as his HC. To have such a pathetic 2009 campaign with this offense is inexcusable. The guy is awful.

I HOPE we win, but then again, I hope we get real coordinators. I have no faith in O'Brien because he hasn't shown me any reason to believe in him. I don't believe in anything without evidence.

That was exactly my point with saying his Ego might be becoming a problem. He should not have gone into the season without any real, experienced coordinators. It was a mistake that is causing major problems now.

Really? Don't we have the #1 scoring offense in the league? What are these "major problems" of which you speak?

If I were a mod, I'd ban you for that. That's just absolutely ******ed and smacks of you not even becoming a fan before earlier in the decade. No true fan would want his team to fail just so they can win a game of oneupsmanship over the internet.
