Rumor: Moss to Vikings?

OH, WTF. Now they are saying that it is MOSS who has been asking to be traded, as early as week 1. WTF is going on. I really hope this is all BS. I don't want one of the GOAT WR to leave the Pats like this.

We had it occasionally when mixing up coverages... but more often than not we had Bell on man coverage on Hernandez leaving Clemons in a Cover 1 in the deep middle...

The 16-0 thing isnt too bad. in 20 years ask people who's the only team to go 16-0 and who won the superbowl in 2009. I bet you get 99% "Patriots and I have no idea" answers.

If all the stories are true:

1: Moss all but ruins the beginning of the season by putting an I in team.

2: On the heels of the best victory of the season Moss again puts an I in team.

3: some desperate Patriot fans now showing they are no better than desperate Jet's fans.

Pathetic ... truly pathetic if the story of the argument are true.

We cannot possibly win a championship with such a player ... not going to happen.

If the stories are true he must be traded even for a measly 3rd rounder in 2011 with an added 2012.

jay glazer was on nfln and said the same thing ..said the deal was close today and they needed to clear some hurdles like always with the pats and thats what is holding up...

Definitely not. No one could've predicted anything after 2000. The team was in great flux...big changes were coming. I knew Bledsoe would NOT take us to the Super Bowl.

But in this case the main cogs are established for the near term.

Coach...QB....and a ton of mediocre draft picks. That's the future I see.

I think this trade has been in the works and the team has known for some time. Get this done during the bye. get it overwith. Get Tate some reps.

Buh Bye. Good luck in Minnesota. Thanks for your service. No hard feelings. But this team being so young needs no distractions and a circus needs to be avoided. I actually think Moss agrees with this thought and will make his exit gracious and he will appreciate his time here.

Moss would obviously fill the same glaring need that the Vikes were trying to address with their ultimately fruitless pursuit of Vincent Jackson. ESPN's John Clayton believes nothing is going to happen late Tuesday night, but talks should continue on Wednesday -- or even throughout the night. FoxSports' Jay Glazer similarly reports that talks remain alive and should "pick up some more in the morning."

Here's another thought, just as relevant: The Patriots pro shop should seriously consider giving rebates to fans who bought Maroney and Moss jerseys.

Will anyone ever know the truth of what brought this all on? The rumors of the Moss trade? Didn't Moss himself admit to the press that he would probably not be back after the end of this season? I just hope that after the dust settles we as fans will eventually find the truth of what really happened. At this point are the Pats better as a team post Moss? I guess we will find out. Right now this whole story is the equivalent of yelling movie in a crowded firehouse. Or watching a 30 ft tall oak tree fall on your car over and over again.
