Help Uk Fan Wanting to watch games

Hi I was wondering is there anyway you can watcht he games online. Here in england we can watch all the soccer games on foreign tv channels via our pc. I was wondering is this possible for american football games.

You have to pay for a pass at nfl.com.

Thats the only way because the NFL has put a real tight copyright law on all there games and you wont be able to find any for free unless you can catch them on tv in the states.

I would dish out the money if i was in your situation. Hell im in Chicago and i dont even get to see all the patriots games

you know what i apologize I thought the NFL Field pass was like the MLB extra innings thing.

You can only get the radio broadcasts. Im not really sure but do some research on google.com.

Join the club kmorris. And come over to UKPatriots.com and moan with the rest of us. Until we can get Sunday Ticket on Sky, or the NFL decide to stream games on the internet, you're pretty much resticted to what Sky and Five will show us.
If you have a friend in the US with decent broadband and Sunday Ticket, you could fork out $199 for a Slingbox and piggyback off them.
But we're not doing too badly this year - TV Games in the UK
7-8 games in the regular season is a whole lot better than the years when we rarely, if ever, saw a Pats game live.
There will be a bunch of us in Bodeans next Sunday for the AFC East double header if you're close enough to London to get there.

...And don't patronise European fans Joker. I've followed the NFL for 25 years - back in the days when the only live game we ever saw was the Super Bowl. Same is true for most of the 20+ UK Fans coming over to Boston for Thanksgiving weekend. and just for the record; I'm a huge Lance Armstrong fan - under my Patriots long sleeve, I'm wearing a Nike Oregon Square Armstrong special edition watch. Moreover I'm hoping that Landis clears his name too.

Anyway I'm glad you popped up, reminds me to log back into the UK Patriots site. I've always imagined, though, that you must get a lot of neo-Nazis visiting who think from the title that it's a national front style site.

Well look at this: Gamepass for $249 a season outside North America

The National Football League said on Thursday it will stream a full season of live games over the Internet to gridiron fans outside of North America.

In partnership with Yahoo, NFL Game Pass will allow fans from abroad to watch nearly every NFL game starting Sunday for $24.99 per week or $249.99 for the entire 17-week season.

The new service marks the league's first effort to deliver a full slate of live games online, following similar Web offerings from Major League Baseball and the National Basketball Association.

"We believe that the Internet has matured to a certain point that it really is an efficient distribution mechanism," said Brian Rolapp, the NFL's vice president of media strategy.

The NFL continues to seek ways to increase the game's popularity internationally, but Rolapp said the intention of Game Pass is to allow an existing fan base living around the world to follow their favorite local teams.

"This is not priced for mass consumer adoption. This is very targeted for an avid NFL fan," he said.

Yahoo has experience streaming video highlights from the 2006 World Cup for FIFA and National Hockey League playoff games to out-of-market fans in the United States.

Certain NFL games will be blacked out in certain markets under the League Pass if they overlap with a scheduled television broadcast of a game in that region.

Yahoo said the agreement with the NFL was exclusive, but would not disclose the financial terms of the deal.

That's amazing... and about time too. i just wish it were available here in the States. A dish is really not a practical option in my building, so UK fans can now potentially see more NFL than US residents who have cable.

On that note, any Cablevision customers like me might be interested to know that I emailed an executive who said 'no comment' when asked by the press a few weeks ago if Cablevision would be getting NFL Network. She replied saying talks were ongoing and that she was hopeful of reaching an agreement.

I like the option of watching games online, live. It means that I don't have to subscribe to Sky (especially as the fascists in our estate don't allow dishes) and I can avoid the disaster that is NTL. Now all I have to do is work out whether I can get out of my Pontel contract, or limit it to those games which won't get shown online. Any games that are shown on UK telly get blacked out.

They can only do it over here because so few games get shown on TV as you know. It would require a lot of reworking of US TV contracts.

There may be a solution but there are a few issues.

I have heard wonderful reports about 1 service from users all over the globe, but I was able to join the sevice only yesterday and have not been able to test it yet. So it may not work as well as I've been told. The most important issue is that the site providing this service this is VERY sensitive about the number of people that know about it. What they are doing is not illegal but... if it becomes too well known, their providers could shut them down. (If I mention their name and they find out, I get thrown off the site).

It's very cheap (about 3 euros a month) and allows you to see any NFL game you want. However, it can be hard to join - they only allow so many to join at any time and you may have to make a number of attempts.

If any of you want to know more, please send a private message and I'll give you the details (but you should wait 'till next week when I can say for sure that it's okay)

I watched Superbowl 39 at my then girlfriend's mother's house while they slept. I sank a number of beers, and during the fourth quarter I somehow let an entire bottle tip from my lap all over the antique sofa (couch). Ten seconds later my girlfriend came down to see how it was going, so I had to sit in a puddle of beer trying not to let her see what I had just done...

Heh... no. I told her a bit later when I realised I needed help with the sofa. Thankfully we managed to clean it up. I wasn't kidding about it being antique. Her Mum lives in a very old, very valuable indeed house in King's Lynn that was used in the filming of the movie 'Revolution' (Al Pacino I think, I've never seen it). Ruining the couch would not have gone down well.

But Superbowl 36 is always linked in my mind with my g/f before that, who found out two days later while I was still floating around in bliss that I had had an affair. Makes it a rather bittersweet memory

There is an upside to the time difference; it's 6.00pm here when the early game kicks off - so I don't get nagged too badly for ignoring the family all day Sunday. I think I'd rather have the Super Bowl ending at 4 in the morning (especially since we have a bar in London that stays open for it) than have the 10.00am start every Sunday which fans have on the West Coast. SNF and MNF are killers though, as is that Saturday evening game in the Playoffs, which the Pats always seem to get.
