Tim Tebow could be the end of PatsFans.com

I think that drafting Jean Shorts Jesus anytime would send me up the wall, at #22 might cause me (and many other people here ) to swear off the Patriots just like I did with the Red Sox when they blew game #7 in 2003.

Although my TV did survive that night, I'm not sure if it would survive JSJ at #22. I know that my keyboard will be DOA.

For the shock factor alone... BB might just do it! :D

Mariucci thinks the Patriots will either take one of McCoy or Tebow at #22 or try to move back into the 1st round to get the one they like.

I hope he goes with teh 1st pick to get him out of the way. Let the circus be in St Louis. won't happen though

The site's not going down anymore guys, so no more worries. We handled 5,000+ before with no hitches, so should be a fun bunch of days ahead
Ian is de debil!

I don't expect Tebow to last until the second round.

Neither does Tebow... but then again, it wouldn't be the first time a player, his family and his agent were lied to by an NFL organization

There's not a team out there that doesn't want Tebow... it's just a question of where they want to take him... and if you want a player, you need to take him before someone else does... which usually means taking him BEFORE everyone else thinks he's going to be taken.

Pats trade Brady for Rams #1 and #2, take Suh and Tebow.

I'm not wishing for this to happen. But I bet this would give Patsfans.com a hiccup...

That would likely be a killer - I'm guessing people would come out of the woodwork, it would be ugly.

Worse... it might get fugly. They'd have to put razor wire around the Pats front office, and a diving platform on the Tobin bridge

After watching Tebow with Gruden on ESPN the other night, I could only think that Tebow is a Belichick guy; Gruden was definitely blown away and seemed to react more favorably to him than he did to Clausen or Bradford.

The problem is obvious: we already have a HOF QB playing at the top of his powers and I doubt they'd bring him in to play another position. But if he's still on the board at 44, he'll probably still be there at 53...and I could see it happening.

I watched that too. I was left with the impression that Tebow is a pretty serious, motivated young man. I have nothing against Tebow. Just don't see the need to spend one of the team's top 4 picks on him regardless of value when there are higher priorities with the pass rush, D-line and perhaps WR and TE that need more attention.

Clausen seems like a total steak-head.
The whole time I was listening to Tebow he came across as someone who was reciting memorized answers to questions Coach Gruden was asking him. I wasn't convinced by him at all but if the Patriots select him I'll learn to love him.
