Re: Manning is throwing the ball....

Let's keep Moss AND add some players that can get open.

That's the problem we have. Outside of Moss and Welker, no-one else gets open, or at least open quickly enough for Brady to find them.

+1

Polian can find gems for every position but KR/PR

For sure. Fortunately for the Colts they don't really need the extra boost on returns. Although if they did have it... that would be even more dangerous.

Unlucky ravens.....gotta intercept that.

Boring game so far.

I wish our DBs could swarm the ball like the Colts. They give you some cushion, but they are so good at preventing YAC.

they are better tackling team than before and certainly better than the pats right now in terms of pure tackling.

Good stop.

i thought caldwell fired the ST coach who was dungy guy this yr ?

He did, there's been a significant coverage improvement this year. But not much in the return game.

Re: Manning is throwing the ball....

In b4 the ass kicking your gonna get;)

I agree with the spread the ball part.

The spread the ball part is what the thread is about. Our offense is throw the ball to Welker, throw the ball to Moss, throw the ball to Welker. If a moron like me can see that I expect a professional NFL team like the Ravens can see it. Lets get some WR's who can get open. Like Gaffeney(sp?)

Re: Manning is throwing the ball....

hey guys, i havent replied from ireland in about 2/3 years. i agree.

i remember the 07 season and just knowing 3 and 7's would be converted by brady. now i know in this game the ravens have constrained manning but i agree with the thread title, i always fear manning making plays even without a running game

never understood how dungy kept the same coach and ST staff which always sucked. they gave a opening kickoff return in the SB to hester the only bears threat!

So glad they blitz on third downs now.

Re: Manning is throwing the ball....

That was an interesting defense. Freeney going all the way around.

Colts D has played this game so far , the perfect way to play baltimore

sell out vs the run and make their qb beat you

i think this is also how sd will play vs dirty sanchez too

3rd and long is what the colts want to do. they have shut down the run so far which our bigger defensive front didnt do consistenly when the ravens did not throw..

Good return, but they take penalty to negate it.

You would think so. Would be stupid not to, especially against the Jets, as they had the top running game and 2nd worst passing game in the regular season.

will be typical balt/ind game. indy just needs 7-10 more pts to win this game.

i truly believe sd will play it like that

you remember carson palmer sucked this season compared to normal carson, but vs sd he passed for over 300, and benson only ran for 53 yards
