Given that Mangina has wanted to claim some of the Patriot players from the PSquad and they did not wish to go..I am not at all surprised that he went for Adams..He's a turkey who will het his soon enough..rat finks like he is will end up in the trash!! little mangina maybe can go to pop warner or something like that...
My question is who will they add to the Practice Squad now??

Mangini has like three days left before he gets fired, right? What the hell is he doing picking up Titus Adams?

Mike Holmgren must be behind this. My guess is that Adams was brought in to sit on ManFredo so he can't squirm away while Holmgren fires him Monday morning. Any ideas out there on where Eric Rat-Snitch Mangina goes next?

I hope he winds up as head coach of the Dallas Cowboys after they lose to the Eagles and to the Vikings in the 1st round of the playoffs. Eric The Ingrate Manbooblia could really humiliate himself in Dallas on that humongous 60-yard-long flat-screen TV!

The Pro Football Talk comments section needs a moderator. That is some strong stuff. Very entertaining to read the level of hatred for Pats Fans. For a moment I felt like a Dookie. But even Pats Fans can't earn the level of disdain that Dookies can.

I hope Titus Adams gets a nice check for being on the active roster in Cleveland for a week and a fair shot at a job in 2010.

PFT, ESPN, and YouTube are filled by a bunch of children based on the commentary.

Mangini would probably do a great job as a DII or DIII head coach in college football. I frankly don't understand why he keeps getting picked up for head coach positions in the NFL.

I think you are at the wrong board, tarheels fan. This is a Patriots board, not a board for powder-blue wearin' sissies to wax jealous of Duke like other fans wax jealous of the Patriots.

I don't understand why Wendell needed to be promoted at this time. LeVoir, Kaczur, Connelly & OBurger were already avail. as backups for tomorrow. Does Bill plan to rest his entire OL?

OTOH, his top 2 DLmen are hurting, and now he has only 4 healthy bodies total: Jarvis, Wright, Brace & Pryor; and is Pryor even healthy enough to contribute?

This move makes no sense whatsoever. It's not the first time, though, and it prob. won't be the last time, either.

Change their name to 'The Cleveland Patriots' and get it over with..for gosh sakes

We gave up a 2nd round pick and a 7th for Welker, so the Pats valued him highly. That was hardly dumpster diving. And considering that Welker has been the best SLOT receiver in the NFL the past 3 years, I think the price was well worth it.
