Brady & Manning against common opponents

2008 Colts without Manning 1-0. Higher winning % than Patriots without Brady.

Cassel's passer rating with the Patriots was 88.2, Jim Sorgi's rating with the Colts 89.9

So many things wrong here.

Oh, so you are a Colts fan. That was some disguise!

No way, I'm a huge fan of the way the game should be played.

For the most part Brady and a Pats do a great job of that, without video tape of course ;). But you guys turn such a blind eye towards Peyton the guy is unbelievable.

Are you kidding, Brady cries at the refs more than any player this decade.

Where do you find the crying at the refs stats?

Against Houston this year, after an interception by Brian Cushing, Manning was on the ground making a flag throwing motion towards the refs. Did he think it was illegal for Houston to intercept his passes?

No, we don't.

He's a statistical monster, and no one here wants the ball in his hands with two minutes left and the Pats up four.

He's also a playoff choke artist, and the only reason his overall postseason numbers are even respectable is because of two lopsided games against Denver. That's a fact.

The Colts drafted around him and gave him the same weapons for his entire career up to this point. That's a fact.

He plays at least 9 games under a dome every season, and at least another two in perfect conditions. I don't care if you can't comprehend the dome advantage; it's also a fact.

Brady's done a lot more with a lot less. Again, fact.

There's no way you're a Jets fan, because not even the most volatile ones I know would spend so much time chatting Manning up and changing their avatar to him. They hate Manning, too.

You're a frontrunner, and that's just bogus.

No one said he isn't great. He is. It just happens that most of us -- homerism or not -- think Brady's better. Especially in the playoffs.

I said Manning consistently chokes in the playoffs and I took issue with your "Brady is in decline" comment. As the OP points out, this year's stats against common opponents prove how moronic that comment is. Your previous comments combined with the "video tape" reference confirms to me that you're just a troll. Done feedin you...

Don't listen to this clown. He's a 12 year old bandwagon Colts fan. No sense arguing with him.

Rofl, yep, you're a colts fan. You're GM actually changed rules to help out his QB, and gets several gratuitous pass interference calls every game. No one gets more help from the refs than the colts.

Lol no, just not true that's all your opinion.

A 3-13 team has weapons?

Put Brady on the Colts his whole career and starting every game since his rookie season and Manning on the Patriots. Looks a lot prettier for Manning and a harder road for Brady.

I can answer anything football related question you ask with reason. Leave your emotion and homerism out of it.

That's funny.

Ask Manning if he'd prefer to play indoors with Harrison, Wayne, and Clark or outdoors with Troy Brown, Deion Branch, David Patten, David Givens, Reche Caldwell...

Ok the honus is not all on Brady, although if he doesn't win a SB this year, by your standards he is a failure. But the Pats are not what they used to be.

nom nom nom .....:D

Not really funny, I garantee he would want to play on a Patriots team with a BB defense (with vets) and a better chance to win the SB.

Brady: 3
Peyton: 1

The Colts are idiots for resting their starters for three weeks, looks like another 1 and done for them.

But then his regular season stats would have suffered if he had played with the Patriots. And, by your standards, he couldn't be considered the best.

Colts 14-1 #1 seed.

Where'd you buy your crystal ball?

Hahahaha, so true.

Sorry I don't speak but and what if. Not when your own Pats fan just called Manning the stat beast.

come on this idiot troll has ruined a pretty good thread, no more feeding him!

How many times have they been the #1 seed this decade? Or had a bye week wrapped up? How many times did they win a SB? Being the #1 seed isn't a guarantee... 2007 Patriots are the best example of that... 16-0 regular season, 2-1 post season...
