Warm up
Posted by Albert Breer at 1:47 pm

The Patriots are going through a walkthrough in the stadium, in shorts and T-shirts, right now with Tom Brady running the first offense and scout-team defense providing the opposition. WR Chad Jackson — who only practiced three times in camp — is out there, though he hasn’t participated in the drills, except as a scout team safety.

Brady, of course, was mentioned yesterday as having contact with Barry Bonds’ trainer, Greg Anderson, who’s been linked to BALCO and many of baseball’s problems. Bonds and Brady attended the same high school, Serra, in the Bay Area. It is believed, now, that any contact between the trainer and quarterback was very, very limited.

GAME DAY PARKING: The team is informing the public that some changes will be in effect for Saturday’s game against Arizona. The P-9 lot will be closed, as construction is ongoing. To mitigate any problems, more spots have opened in P-10. The lots will open at 4 p.m. for the 8 p.m. game, and the gates open at 6 p.m.

I'm guessing this was before today's practice.

So much for the rumor that Jackson had been kidnapped by aliens ...

I wonder if Jackson just did this because he heard he broke patsox23's heart ?

Is it weird to anyone else that Willie Andrews, a rookie S/CB, has been playing scout team WR and Chad Jackson, a Rookie WR, apparently was playing scout team S? I wish Chad would get healthy so that he can get his timing with Brady... sucks.

how come Reiss says Jackson isnt there?

I have a lot of confidence in Chad. Hamstrings need to be taken care of delicately and shouldn't be rushed. Look at TO, the younger Moss and S. Holmes. They all have had leg problems. Chad should take as long as necessary and be as healthy as possible for the season. This kid is going to make big plays for this team, this year.

Pony, hope you're right. As you may have heard, my heart is broken.

keep the faith. Chad is going to be fine, as long as he doesn't come back to early. This kid is tough, can take a hit and wants to be great. I'm sure no one is as desperate to get on the field as he is. Pushing him out there too early will only hurt his development, damage his confidence, and ****** the growth in his career.

This was an in-stadium walkthrough before the practice.
