Giants target Pats' Dom Capers to replace Steve Spagnuolo - ESPN

The New York Giants are targeting Dom Capers as their next defensive coordinator, replacing Steve Spagnuolo, who was hired as Rams coach on Saturday, sources told ESPN senior NFL analyst Chris Mortensen Saturday.

That's his background, and if he wanted to make the switch the Giants over he'd have many of the tools needed. That said, Capers is known for his pressure defense and you can see the attraction of bringing in another pressure D guy to replace Spags.

I'm not sure why he'd want to switch them over. they're pretty good and they got Osi coming back
