no, but his contract is up in 2013 , , , and one wonders, with Brady nearing retirement at that point, one wonders if BB will ride off into the sunset after 2013 . . . i hope and doubt he will, but it would be great to get a Grade A coach as a replacement when he retires . . .

Belichick will coach until he falls over dead. The guy lives for nothing but football.

Let's hope he got a good look at Gresham, Spikes, the Florida DB's and the guy who got the DPOG for the upcoming draft.
I wouldn't mind the Pats taking only Gators in this draft, plus Gresham.

When BB is done w/coaching I could see him taking a FO role or one similar to what Parcells has in Miami. In addition to being a great coach, BB is also an excellent talent evaluator.

FWIW, Belichick has actually said he doesn't see himself still coaching, say, 25 years from now. So I'd say he's got somewhere between 5 and 24 years of coaching left. :)

Well didn't he look low to you - or anyone else ?

He did, but it looked like Kraft, Myra and Linda were on stools and Bill was in a another type of chair.

EDIT: Actually it looks like they are in the same chairs - I have no idea why Bill is so much lower. Bad posture?

It amazing how much time we spend on this kinda stuff, we are truly hopeless fans.

I love it.

BB is scouting florida looking for the next chad jackson. ;)

BB is leaning back and his chair seems to be much farther back than the other 3.

Meyer will be the "next" head coach at Notre Dame.

Don't post threads like this. Every time my wife sees BB with the girlfriend she goes off about blonde bimbos with fake tits and too much surgery, blaming BB's GF for no SB wins since 2005.

Just tell her Linda Holiday was not the starting pass rusher for the Giants last season.

Also, take a look at Urban's "spread" offense. Where do you think BB got the idea from? Not Charlie!

The Patriots Offense is far more similar to Oklahoma's than Florida's.

BB does pick Urban's brain and has no doubt implemented some of his stuff, but the Gator's Offense bears almost no resemblance to what the Patriots do. Charlie was doing this kind of thing for a while.

I believe he had his shot at that already and didn't want it.

If they get rid of Charlie after next season (I hope they don't, I want Charlie to do well), Meyer is going to ND - you can take that to the bank.

Why would he go from one of the best 2-3 jobs in the country to one that's no longer even a top 10 (maybe not even top 20) program?

Hell, I don't even think it's a top 20 now, maybe in some intrinsic value but not in talent.

Why would he go? To turn it around and build on his legacy. We will see.

Just as an aside, I expect Charlie to get the job done well enough to remain after this year. His players are now experienced, and there's talent on that squad.

Also, even though I think Florida is a better gig, Notre Dame can jump right back to the top with 2-3 good seasons.

He was an assistant under Holtz. His family wanted to got to Florida; he wanted ND. Family first.

from what i saw, I just hope nobody ever starts a thread asking if we should try to get Tebow or Bradford or even the kid from Georgia. None of them impressed me much this bowl season.
