Yes, the safe #6 that everybody gives them. Not too high, not too low.....

Same thing is always mentioned about Brady, Bellichick and the losses too...

I think this is of the more reasonable power rankings I've seen so far this off-season. All the teams before them had better season and some beat the Pats as well. These teams deserve to be ranked ahead at this point. The Pats have to prove on the field they are better than these teams before being ranked ahead of them. One thing that I do find foolish is that the reason listed is that you can never count out a TB/BB team, and while this is true it makes it sound as if the rest of the team has fallen apart outside of these two guys. It at least appears to be discounting the promising draft picks as well as the developing returning players.

But the list also clamps down a little on the hype by ranking the Dolphins behind the Pats. We can't assume the Dolphins are better at this point. We have to see it. Regardless of what team you root for, I just think it is premature to definitively say the Fins are better than the Pats.

I think the Ravens are ranked a little high. This team was terrible last year and while McNair is an improvement he is not the McNair of the past and has had serious trouble saying on the field.

n.6 ? i have a feeling we are better then that...

Miami at number 8 ???

Rankings are predictable. Same teams are getting the same plugs. It's amazing that the loss of Edgerrin James is being taken so lightly. I think the Colts will drop back to about 7 to 10 with his loss. Teams will play pass on frustrate Manning.

I guess I'm the only one who feels this way.

Ridiculous. The Colts and Panthers that high? What a joke.

That will last about 2 weeks but thats ok nobody expecting us to do anything but as we walk with another trophy send them their preseason picks.

i really cant wait for the phins to play their few games of the season and come crashing down. Way too much hype for that team.

Colts? Yes that is a joke, they should be around 8 or 9. But Carolina just might be the best team in the NFL. They got even better now that they have another weapon to compliment Steve Smith in Keyshawn Johnson.

Did you guys also see Miami at #8? When we beat Pittsburgh, we will defintly jump into the top 5. :)

HAHA! You're so bitter it's funny. Care to enlightend me on why it's all hype? Ya know, they were 9-7 with GUS FREROTTE AT QB! Now we have Culpepper. How is that not something to look at and think they will be even better?

Well first off, Ben will be ready and secondly, beating the Super Bowl champions on their home turf is always impressive if you ask me.

Yea i believe he had some no name WR named Randy Moss then. But i dont think that had anything to do with the numbers.

You guys wont beat the Steelers...nor us. Nor any of the top teams from last year.

Anyone who says that doesn't know s**t about football. How many times am I going to have to explain this? That year moss missed 3 games entirely and had limited time in 3 others where the most catches he had was 4. Yes Moss did have a good year still with 13 TD catches but Daunte threw 39. Hmm, that's not to bad without him, and not to mention he only threw 11 INTs.

Also, hey what happend to Kerry Collins this year? Oh yeah, that's right, he got cut. But wait, he had Moss. Shouldn't he have been a pro bowler? Moss makes all his QBs great right? WRONG! Recievers don't make QBs, it's the other way around. So shut up with that argument because it's complete BS and you know it! You're an idiot if you believe that.
