Someone can correct me on the math, but here's how I see it breaking down:

Belichick's Patriots Record Pre-Spygate (including playoffs): 104-40. .722 Winning Percentage

Belichick's Patriots Record Post-Spygate (including playoffs): 28-6. .824 Winning Percentage

Mangini's Jets Record Pre-Spygate (including playoff): 10-7. .588 Winning Percentage

Mangini's Jets Record Post-Spygate: 13-17. .433 Winning Percentage. FIRED.

Hey, Eric: How'd all THAT work out for you?

:D

Yeah, I'm sure they're as closely correlated as your post implies.

I'm glad Mangini got his, but from a purely cause-and-effect point of view, it's likely that Mangini's record before & after had very little to do with Spygate.

Never said they were correlated at all. Just pointing out the facts.

Your post pretty much implies a correlation, or else why make it at all?

This would be of similar relevance:

Following Eric Mangini eating a turkey sub for lunch last Tuesday, the Pats are 1-0 (1.000) and the Jets are 0-1 (0.000). How'd that turkey sub work out for you, Eric?

Obviously Mangini has not been following Jarod's Subway diet, so it is not working out for him.

Clearly not. Though with his diminished paycheck going forward, he may be forced to switch to Subway. Leaving New York might not be bad for his waistline (hopefully the reverse is true for CC Sabathia :D)

HAHAHAHA LMAO! Thanks. I just pizzed all over my desk from laughing so hard. Good one! :D

The witch-hunt has been dispelled, the past two years prove the sideline video had little to no effect on helping out our amazing coaching machine. All teams can legally tape from the upper booths, just not the sidelines, so there really was no benefit from the supposed 'cheating'.

FWLIW, I took it in the proper spirit, as more evidence AGAINST the "Cheatriot" lie :singing:

yeah, i have to say im glad the pats won 3 of the 4 against the jets without the "cheating" camera, finished with a better record both seasons, and that BB got a new contract while mangini got canned. **** the green and white

Not that I believe all this Spy Gate stuff, but just to play devils advocate.......

Belichick Pre Spy Gate - 3 Super Bowl Championships. :)

Belichick Post Spy gate - 0 Super Bowl championships.

Imagine that.....

What does Roger Goodell have to do with anything? He wasn't on the field when the Giants drove down the field at the end of the Super Bowl last year, and he wasn't on the field when the Patriots wet themselves in the second half of the conference championship the year before.

True....just showing my hatred for the man.....

Are you sure about that? Check that tape. With exactly 1:31 left to play, a dark figure appears for one, maybe two frames, at the bottom-left corner of the shot, on the field. Either that or it was a smudge on the lense, but I bet either way Goodell was involved.

But was he on the field when the Jets last won thier super bowl?............. oh wait, was he even alive then. :singing:

From everything I've read, it seems as if the commissioner was very fair with Belichick (maybe even too lenient), do you think otherwise?

I think that I can safely speak for most here by saying that yes, we think otherwise. Should that surprise you?
