When I look at the front page, I see threads devoted to Tony Eason, Steve Grogan, and Jim Plunkett, so why not?

Marc Wilson. He sucked.

When Wilson was with the Raiders, the look of sheer terror on his face after Bowman recovered the kickoff fumble for a TD (caused by Mosi!) to give the Pats the 27-20 lead in that '85 postseason was priceless. He had the "Oh my God...now the game is in my hands?!?" look that Kordell perfected 16 years later.

My fond rememberance of that face lead to the bitter taste in my mouth when the Pats signed in him circa 1990. I knew then that the Pats suddenly transformed from "frustratingly inconsistent" to "league doormat" and the following few years beared that out. What a stupid signing.

Regards,
Chris

Marc Wilson may be the worst starting QB of all time. Congratulations, Marc.

Scott Secules anyone?

Tommy Hodson and Scott Secules sucked too.

Hugh Millen was a little better. Does he deserve a thread too?

Damn it you took my guy. Since you took my QB I will dedicate a thread to **** McPhereson (SP?).

Mike Taliaferro

I remember when Hugh Millen singlehandedly lost a game against Denver. The Pats were behind 9-6 with about seven seconds left, no timeouts remaining, and instead of throwing into the endzone Millen tried to run it in from the 10. He was tackled at about the 3 and of course the game ended there. Stupid end to a pretty hard-fought game, and one of the few remaining opportunities to beat Elway (which we never did).

Jeff Carlson

Remember Jeff Carlson, he started the last 2 games of the 92 season after Zo got hurt. He was a sucky left hander who lost games to the Bengals and Miami. His backup was the immortal Lee Saltz from Temple. They were out 4th and 5th stringers, how bad was that o-line.
