How can Patsfans criticize M Faulk? The anti-Cassel threads & opinions posted here all summer were far worse.

I know the season's still very young, but Faulkhead also declared almost immediately during the Pats-Bucs broadcast in question that the Pats were destined to go the way of most SB-losing teams of the past decade by not making the playoffs the following season.

You didn't listen to what he said, evidently. In bizarre fashion, SOMEHOW he turns the argument into an attack on Tom Brady and ends his diatribe by saying "I guess I should say 'hey, Tom Brady, I'm sorry'.....but I won't".

THAT'S the mentally challenged part in that clip. Could ANYONE actually make out what was the poor fellow's point?

its just purely personal with him, nothing else.
iam surprised on one coaches these guys on the tv stations to improve their skills and become objective. iam sure the other hosts on nfln know he is a hater but they just let it go and dont quiz him on his logic or what he has said in the past.
frankly there are both sides to it. keyshwan is overly pro pats at times that iam sure non pats would hate.

As someone pointed out, most of the fans here have no right to criticize Faulk about this. They were saying the same and much worse all preseason. But now that Cassel has come in and played well suddenly anyone who ever said anything bad about him is a buffoon and a Patriots hater. So why aren't people calling themselves out?

Well that's the thing - Warner was getting pressured and sacked constantly, yet what did Mike Martz do? Did he utilize one of the very best and most versatile RBs in the league? No, he kept trying to throw the long ball. It's not Belichick's fault Martz was too stubborn to adjust his game plan.

On the other board I used to post on one guy put it best:

Marshall Faulk = one Super Bowl ring; Kevin Faulk = THREE.

sure but you woudl also have to assume that someone who has played so much in his career and is paid to give a football opinion would know more than a fan about preseason and how one should judge it ..shouldnt he ? he claims cassel would not win if brady left with a lead . This sounds like a fan or hater not an analyst ..do you agree ? we fans question everything including WTF is bb doing and mcdaniels doing etc. doesnt mean we know a lot more than someone who played professionally.

Does it move away from brady since he is still recovering from a knee injury ? Eisen asked him surprised 'Are you saying ..what iam thinking ?" and then said there is no way they move brady. Faulk then says , 'humble pie' right here...

personally i dont mind sharpe. he speaks his mind +ve or -ve, and isnt half as dumb as faulk and doesnt really have an agenda for or against one team , at least thats my feeling.
