Easy vote for me. I have reserved a special place in my mental Lake of Fire for the Green Slime for many years now, but thanks to recent events they've sealed their fates as perpetual Waxy Football Enemy #1
(As they cannot suffer enough for me, if heaven forbid the Jets did make it to the playoffs, my dream would be to see a record set for most OT periods - totally suck the life out of the bastards so I could sit back, relax, and laugh at what was left of them should they make it to the next round )

it will be nice to see both teams beat the crap outta each on sunday night football but i'm for the Chargers on this one. we need as many games up on the Jets (and Bills for that matter) as we can get.

I be rooting for the JETS.

Gotta go Jets. I'll take a 1-2 Chargers team over a 2-1 divisional rival.

NFL Schedule: Regular Season

Root for SD to go something like 13-3 or 14-2; root for the jets to lose every single game.

Jets getting another top 10 draft pick after spending all that money and thinking they were a legit team = high comedy
SD having a great season, then losing to us in the playoffs --> Seeing LdT cry = high comedy

Why not root against Miami? The jets have little to do with who wins the division except when they play against us and the bills.

I root against SD because I really dislike the team, and because they are the greatest threat to our SB win. The jets are beneath contempt, but I want them to beat SD, and buffalo.

I'm rooting against the Chargers despite how much I dislike the Jets; I still consider San Diego to be a much bigger threat. By the end of the season the Chargers are more likely than the Jets to be a playoff team, and I'd prefer for them to have to play on the road in January.

As far as the AFC East goes, I'm more concerned with the Bills than the Jets, who will probably start self-destructing after their next loss. Perhaps I'm at fault for looking too far ahead, or underestimating the Jets, but I'm confident the Pats will finish ahead of the Jets this year.

There may be new fans who think our arch enemy is the CHargers or the COlts or the Steelers, but old-timers know: Never root for the Jets.

In this game, I'm hoping that the Chargers win the game, but also that the drinking water to the locker rooms of both teams gets mold or something in it. Nothing real bad, but enough to give all players and staff a week or so of explosive diarhea, and squirty farts.
I assume LdT will have yet another excuse why he can't play, maybe hangnail or a stubbed toe or something, but even so the Chargers ought to dismantle the Jests.

Ah Spacecrime....I got a good laugh out of that one!

In a way I hope for a LONG LONG game...can both lose?? No?? I would agree...less worried about the Jets than the Bolts...At 0-3...they look bad ..but have the Raiders and Fins before the Pats...so?? Let's see them go down..BUT if they happen to win..no biggie..another strike against the Green Slime not a bad consolation prize.

The JETS have a pretty soft schedule with fewer tough opponents left including just SD and AZ (only if Warner doesn't dislocate a finder of something in the next few weeks)...and us again and Buffalo twice.


SD is already down 0-2 and with Pittsburgh, Buffalo, Indy, us and a rematch with Denver in Denver yet to face so I'd much rather see them take down a team in our division and worry about them being in the conference (with Denver in their division) some other time.


With me it's never about me, it's about us...

I would not mind seeing the Chargers lose another heartbreaker but I think they will get this one.

But, I think the Jets will come to play as well.

Going to be a good game.

SD will destroy the Jets. But I'm rooting for the Jets because SD is our biggest playoff threat this year. Plus, I love to see LT0.0 cry on the sidelines.

I never root for the Rats....By them loosing we stay stronger in the AFC East (till we meet with Buffalo) and gives SD their 1st W, make things competitive again in the AFC West.

The Divisional Opponent of course. All the more because its Mangina.

I love when you have games like this when it’s a win win situation
