Brady's knee was hit by a defender named Pollard. We recently cut a TE named Pollard. TE is the NYSE code for TECO Energy, Inc. TECO's stock is currently sitting at 16.2, which is how many points per week Brett Favre got in fantasy last year... Favre plays for the Jets!
IT'S ALL THE JETS FAULT!
now I'm not all Mulder and Scully and fake moon landing normally but something feels fishy about this entire thing. The Pats play Cassel this pre-season more than his entire college and pro careers combined and keep him on the roster despite most of the "pundits" and messageboard analysts think he's going to get cut for the younger (more promising?) Gootz; even though Brady doesn't look in any way injured whenever he's seen on/off the field. They also keep 5 backs on the roster, which most view as a bit unusual, seemingly setting up for a more ground based attack this season. The only thing anyone talks about all pre-season is the backup QB position...more backup QB talk than anytime in history it seems.
then we have the first game of the season and Brady is gone, most likely for the season, before the second qtr even starts.....just feels fishy for some reason

I think the only way to prove that there has been a conspiracy here would be for me to travel to the world's ultra luxury sun soaked destinations and have a look-see if Tom is hanging out with Gisele, sans knee brace/ ACL repair surgery scar. It'll be a tall task, and I'm not exactly rich enough to pull this off, but I'll do my best, for the sake of us all.

Anyone? I spend 20 minutes on that stupid script.

As an X Files and Pats fan you hit the nails on the heads.
The only fishy thing here is your use of the word "despite." BB did something "depite" what message board people thought would happen. Wow, that's a first Or fishy because you think BB chooses backup QBs by age, and the fact that Gute was 2 years younger means he is the mandatory choice? The Pats play Cassel this pre-season more than his entire college and pro careers combined and keep him on the roster despite most of the "pundits" and messageboard analysts think he's going to get cut for the younger (more promising?) 5 backs is pretty much standard in the NFL. The Pats usually keep 4 on the roster, which is what they did. Maroney-Morris-Jordan-Evans.They also keep 5 backs on the roster, which most view as a bit unusual,
Fishy because BB made a personnel decision that surprised us as usaul, fishy because the Pats played the backup QB for most of the preseason as usual, or fishy because they had 4 RBs on the roster as usual?then we have the first game of the season and Brady is gone, most likely for the season, before the second qtr even starts.....just feels fishy for some reason
