um, KC? i seem to remember many a prediction that the pats were gonna run rough-shod over the poor colts d. since that was the general expectation here, i would assume you thought your running game was plenty good. no?

i'm sure the all-time numbers for the colts would be similar to the numbers for the pats db's over the last 5-6 years. let it go already.

as of the denver game, the colts had 6 new starters on the field on defense. that's gonna take some time to work out.

rules that were implemented, i believe, last season (might have been this one tho). anyway...the clock only stops when there's something like under 4 min to go in each half. i don't remember the exact way it written. i'll see if i can find it.

actually, you'd be shocked to see how much they actually do play the run. the colts have rarely (compared to the last 2 years) used the 3 WR formation. even when they do, it's ususally a TE out in the slot.

ok, colts get possession with 5:06 to go in the game. they run the ball 4 times...houston calls a time out at 3:35. colts run the ball 3 more time...houston calla time out with 2:42 to go in the game. houston then changes their defensive package to load up on the run, so the colts offense...

ok...first of all, AV was out of the game secondly, peyton threw 4 times in the 4th quarter...the colts ran it 12 times. how is this "stat padding" OR trying to "run up the score?" obviously i need a remedial english lesson

agreed that being said, since it is so early in the season it's still a combination of performance on the field and expectations.
