    We are on to 2018

We have the best program and franchise is the NFL...even amongst other sports teams. Bob Kraft will insure that the New England Patriots have the right football people in place and that they have what they need to succeed. He knows how this is done. Do you think he was just lucky when he...

Still feeling the sting of defeat

Like I told a Philly fan at work, I am only feeling the sting of defeat because the Patriots did not play well. In addition, things are in disarray. I wondered if all that crap would affect them going into the Super Bowl. When I learned of a divided locker room and watched how that Butler...

McDaniels is Staying and the Succession Plan for the Patriots is in Place

This assumes that Belichick's plan is THE PLAN for the team and franchise. I am not so sure of that, anymore. Stuff is getting sorted. Let's see how it settles...

    Kraft & Belichick at dinner

I love Bob Kraft; always said he is the MVP of the organisation. (Even though I was mad for losing draft picks for the "deflategate" scam.) He went out and got the best "football guy" he could to run his football business. Then, he backs him completely...as an owner and a fan. MARK THIS, as...

The complete and utter brilliance of this offseason

...yet. The draft is coming. Bottom line: We have not worked through preseason. Trades can still happen and guys can still not make the team. We'll see...

The complete and utter brilliance of this offseason

Don't forget, Allen is one of the best blocking TEs. (And he has good hands.) So, he's not just a blocker, but within that capacity, the Pats can do more. And, now, they have gone ahead an improved their overall offensive capacity by adding WRs et al. Ergo, Allen's role might be different...

The complete and utter brilliance of this offseason

Is anyone else noticing a kind of respect-urgency to take advantage of TB being the QB? So, what's the current strategy? Is it, we're going to throw on you, AND you have to stop throwing on us? Check. Can do...on both ends. This secondary could be shutdown. And the offense...the rest is...

The complete and utter brilliance of this offseason

What does it all say to me? We are going for as many as we can. We owe it to Tom and the rest...

Patriots: Meet Dwayne Allen. (You'll love this)

Big-time class act. No wonder why the NEP went after him. Oh, and he's a pretty good football player. ;)

Stats-deluded writer argues "there are no great defenses left in the playoffs" & NE doesn't count

Of course, Pittsburgh has to face the Gronkless-less Patriots, who are one of the best offensive teams in the NFL. Has anybody forgotten that? Methinks, PIT has theirs hands full...in Foxborough. Bring it on!

Green Bay/Atlanta: Who will win? Who do we want to win?

Teams like Green Bay can pull wins out of their a*rs. Teams like Atlanta are just happy to be there.
  13. Rhodey

    We're on to Pittsburgh

More like...Pittsburgh is on to New England! ...and that's the way we hoped it would be. :D

"The Colts are a clown show" (Gregg Doyal).

"While we wait — there's another clown — we're learning something: The problems at West 56th Street run deeper than the coach, deeper than the GM. The problems start at the top, with the ringmaster of this circus. I'd say Colts owner Jim Irsay is running this billion-dollar business by the seat...

    the Clay Buchholz DL thread.

It would be best for the Red Sox to trade #11. He's not a winner. It's just the same ole story...for the past 3 years. When I heard him exclaim that he thought he might have been traded- about a week, ago, in an interview -it told me that he has no confidence...almost expects the team to get...
