Goodell to SI: Deceived by Belichick

Godell and King timed this to do the most damage. I bet if the Patriots made it to the big game he would published just before, but instead he waited for BB to win Coach of the year and released it. Wasn't King mad that BB wouldn't give his apology personally to him? Also, Kraft needs to do...

2011 Offseason Outlook - Defensive Backs

I really think we should make a run at Mr. Bailey and sign for a few years. He'd make our secondary better immediately and add some depth in case we lose some one to injury again like we did with Bodden this year.

    I agree. :D

AFC Championship Game: Jets at Steelers

What the hell are you even talking about. Here we go again. If the jets adjust their defense to stop the run it opens up the pass and wears out the defense. THAT IS THE POINT. Then Brady has more opportunities to find open receivers. I'm not suggesting we try and run BJGE for 60 minutes...

AFC Championship Game: Jets at Steelers

 I was suggesting a run first offense that mixes in passes when necessary, never a run only attack. Way to misrepresent my argument. I guess that's the best you can do.

AFC Championship Game: Jets at Steelers

No, that play was blown up because of missed blocking assignments. Do you realize you just keep making strawman arguments over and over?

AFC Championship Game: Jets at Steelers

What? It's what I'm arguing they should have done for the whole first half, only focusing more on the runs. You're basically holding up 2 successful examples of what I'm saying should have been done more.

AFC Championship Game: Jets at Steelers

Yes, the offense was using a balanced attack including a good amount of runs by Woodhead/BJGE which was working I agree. But that was abandoned for a pass happy offense focusing on lots of shotgun, empty backfield looks that got Brady sacked a lot and got us no where.

AFC Championship Game: Jets at Steelers

Actually those were more balanced drives than just passing and those 2 drives got us 3 our only points in the first half. We then abandoned the balanced approach for more shotgun and empty backfield and we didn't score again until close to the end of the 3rd quarter. Meanwhile we have people...

AFC Championship Game: Jets at Steelers

When did I say we would score quickly? I don't consider that to be important in the least. When have I said BJGE would make "game breaking runs"? I don't particularly care what you believe. And I said before I would have opened up the first half with a running attack, I never...

AFC Championship Game: Jets at Steelers

Trying to force the pass against the Jets defense didn't get us a TD till the end of the 3rd quarter. I'd say Brady was effectively taken out of the game. Yeah, and when the offense comes out with an empty backfield nearly every play there is no reason to play the run. Whereas if they used...
