1989 49ers > 1984 49ers More Offensive weapons in '89. And the Defense was better at stopping the run. And how can you argue with 55-10? Even Bill Walsh said the 1989 49ers were the best 49ers team of all time.

I hate to say it but i'll go with the 49ers. Better Defense and more balanced Offense.
