I was wondering that too. Also thinking JC Jackson might be a candidate. If not they will most likely draft a Free Safety type in the 3rd? We need a CB and FS to learn for a year before playing a lot in 2022. Obviously the Pats think they can do a lot better than D Harmon considering he signed...

If he will sign a reasonable 3 year deal. But I doubt he will, so we might as well get something for him. It would be great if he could be a ball hawking free safety, but I am not sure he is fast enough. D McC will not last forever.

This is correct and key. JC did not look like a #1 corner in the Bills game when Gilmore was out. Sign Gilmore if his injury is OK, draft Horn at #15, and trade JC for a 3rd. Take a 2nd tier QB, like Mills, or a DT with the 3rd round pick.

I am not a huge Surtain fan. Gilmore and Horn are similar in height, ran a 4.38 and 4.39 forty respectively, and are both Gamecocks. I think Horn alongside Gilmore would be a great pairing for a few years.

Should be hard for anyone to resist taking Horn. Doubt he will be there. Maybe Paye? Hopefully the 5 QBs, the 3 WRs and Pitts, plus a couple of OTs, so that someone falls to us.
