If Nathan Rourke was in this draft, where would he be drafted? I’m guessing mid to late rounds. I like the idea of drafting a second quarterback in theory, but it think we’ll have enough competition at the position with Brisset, the rookie, Rourke, and Zappe.

Ideally, we draft someone who can be the franchise LT. The problem is that those guys usually go early. If they don’t think someone like that is available, I’d like to see them draft a WR at 34. Then maybe a tackle who is a project in round 3 or maybe a TE. We’re going to be awful again next...

Admittedly, it takes a lot of projection, but I like McCarthy and would be excited if we draft him. That said, I wouldn’t put stock in any of the rumors from now until the draft. Team executives lie and journalists make things up.
