I'm thinking that at the end of this game we'll be saying that the Ravens were the Pats' toughest challenge for the Super Bowl. I think the Ravens would beat the Seahawks. Hope I am correct.
I cannot watch any of the pregame nonsense and have not done so since cameragate. It's all so contrived for ratings and internet clicks. I'm convinced that a lot of what the talking heads say is some what scripted and produced. No way the talking head former players are not told to pick sides...
Wait, how many Super Bowls has Revis won?
How many Super Bowls has TB won without Revis?
Look, I love having Revis on the Pats and truly hope the Pats have a great defense this coming season but that article is nonsense.
You want to get clicks on the internet as a sports writer? You write articles like the one referenced above. Negative opinions stir controversy and clicks. Attacking those at the top of their field is par for the course for a lot of the media, unfortunately.
Good pick at a need position. Stork won the Rimington Trophy as the nation's top center and also earned First Team All-ACC honors as picked by the league's coaches as well as the media. Like his size and smarts.
I like the way this website is moderated. Some other NFL team forums have so many threads it's like you have to be an investigative journalist just to find the good threads among the bad. It is what it is.
I like the idea of Dennard or Ryan over Arrington as well. Ryan showed some skills last season so I'm looking forward to seeing how he develops. On a side note, one thing I like about Browner and Revis besides coverage skills is they are not afraid to tackle, i.e., good against the run.
Re: Brandon Spikes news: late for team meeting, was going to be released; could've pl
I stopped watching Countdown many years ago. It's just too much fluff and not much football. Reminds me of TMZ and that kinda sheet drives me crazy. Too bad really because I used to enjoy those shows...
Re: Brandon Spikes news: late for team meeting, was going to be released; could've pl
Great point JMT57. I agree that if this is true, it may have come from Spike's agent.
Re: Brandon Spikes news: late for team meeting, was going to be released; could've pl
You gotta wonder whether this is true or not, seeing that the Pats are crazy about keeping things secret. One thing I know for sure is that Spikes clearly has some serious knee injury because his knee buckled...
Ditto. But wait, its from the Herald so it must be true, right? I mean the Herald would never write a false story based on "sources" ... (sarcasm ... cough ... John Tomase) ;)
