He's a jerk who is always on WEEI (sports radio up in Boston). He's horrible, always sounds like a blowhard, but he's always a pro Patriot blowhard. He's apparently been faking that all along.
I boycotted WEEI a long time ago, though.
At most, Belichick probably has one high profile signing and a bunch of veteran, complimentary, situational players. A vertical threat and a corner are the two ideal targets. I don't think we'll have room for both, assuming we re-sign/franchise Welker, Carter, Anderson, etc etc.
I like...
Saw this thread on another site (SoSH), and thought it would be a good idea here.
I realize that the pain is still super fresh for all of us, but what better way to talk about how we can get back to the show next year and win it? The re-tooling of the roster starts now. Who do you want?
Haha, I just saw that too. If the team didn't say a word about Gronk, he would say that they're being secretive about his ankle which indicates a devastating injury as well. You can never win with Felger and Mazz.
Dear Mr. Coughlin,
These are definitely NOT mind games by Bill Belichick. Do yourself a HUGE favor and gameplan to stop Chad Ochocinco, who is sure to have his breakout game Super Bowl Sunday, and completely ignore Gronkowski. He'll never play. Also, Kevin Faulk is going to get a lot of...
Would have loved to see that, but to be fair Willie is an employee of the NFL and probably can't show allegiance even if he wanted to, and Lawyer Milloy is on the active roster of another NFL team.
Re: OT: Shake-up at WEEI D & H out
Couple theories:
One of them is that Dale may have been ready for retirement, and that this shake up was to accommodate one of WEEI's longest tenured guys. This is pretty much a semi retirement for Dale, as he'll be on fill in duty (a couple weeks here and...
It's been a long, long time since I read it, so someone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, but it was originally supposed to only be about the 2001-2002 Super Bowl Champions. But, the 2002-2003 season was so disappointing, that Holley decided to revisit the team for the 2003-2004 season. I...
I always thought it was an unwritten rule in trash talking that you actually had to have an influence on the game to actually do it.
Enjoy watching this beating from Applebees, and good luck in the game you play next season, Kris!
Re: Sounds like some Jets players think Cromartie went too far
Maybe they heard about what usually happens when this Patriots team gets trash talked in the media.
